Just because a few of you wanna swallow the sword of blizzard, doesn’t mean the majority do the same pal. We expected a game at a date that was set almost 2 months ago? They dropped the ball and people have every right to be mad. With that being said… bye.
Guess I need to talk to my wife about that whole betting my balls on this thing, wonder if amazon ships that sort of thing…
Boohoo, nobody cares and the world doesn’t revolve around your work schedule.
Don’t buy shadowlands if you feel so inconvenienced.
Good call Bliz!
Take the time you need to make a great expac!
This is good, take your time blizzard!
That won’t happen, luckily.
But still, it sucks.
Prepatch is all I need to be happy though tbh. Can’t wait for that at least!
Calm down, you’re not that important. I promise. Just because other people can see past themselves doesn’t mean they’re unemployed tone deaf. It means they have the ability to think outside of their own little bubble. You should give it a try!
i hate saying this but…
MvPs man…
You know they’re going to crunch even more now right?
Throw all corruption modifiers in Mother and make them free for the next two weeks. Give us something to do I beg you.
I can wait an extra month or so,take the time you need my dudes, won’t lose sleep over this decision and if anything get my procrastinating butt caught up in time for the launch.
Thank you. Seriously! This move takes integrity and guts.
Thank you, Blizzard Dev Team. This was the correct choice and the best for the player base. I got into the beta last night and I could feel something very off about it. I’ve been in every beta since Cata and this one felt much different, in a clobbered together kind of way. I think I’ve submitted more bugs in the last 18 hours than I did in the BfA beta as a whole. The core game is there, it just needs some extra attention and I’m so happy it’s getting that.
Kudos to the Dev Team for all of their hard work, especially during this total WFH world. I also have an office job that went fully WFH and I know all the struggle we went through to make things work somewhat normally. I can’t imagine having to produce a full game for millions of people under these extraordinary conditions. So thank you, Blizzard, for doing the right thing.
Huge respect for this. I am fine waiting for 6 months even, especially with the new leveling and pre-patch in place. I will have content to level through the expansions I haven’t played yet. Sure, there’s plenty of people that don’t want to do that, but pre-patch should still take 1-2 months of time. If people just rush through all the new content and get burnt out, they can just take a break from the game, plenty of other content out there!
We (Blizzard + the players) really need a good launch for Shadowlands and a mature decision like this one gives me more confidence. Thank you and good luck, will be looking for Shadowlands with even more excitement.
There actually is a real problem.
I bought game time because this new expansion was launching on the Oct 26th
Now I have wasted 3 months of game time not being able to play what I paid for.
Why do you have to keep sucking up for a company that keeps screwing you over?
Just gonna say this here for obvious reasons.

Make the Covenants cosmetic only already and stop wasting resource on this.
If you are so concerned on giving players the illusion of choice, reintroduce the old talent system or a new passive skill system to make specs and classes different from one another. How can a development team be so blind to the state of the game and community?
You do realize that they can litterally delay only by a few weeks because of the holidays right?
This is why people say you’re an overly dedicated fan of Blizzard. A blind man can see there are issues. You are seriously going to tell me the Maw looks good? They literally haven’t touched it since Alpha and you can 100% tell it. This is one of the main mechanics of the game, it’s a HUGE part and it clearly screams early Alpha.
It is almost like things can go wrong. I know you don’t understand anything past your own two hands, but some projects are beyond complicated on the best of days. Throw in a pandemic and there ya go.
I dunno. Get some rest. Light some stress-relieving candles, or something. You seem kinda high-strung.
