Thanks for delaying the game. This was 100% the right move and I know with this wasnât easy especially while working at home. Good luck squishing those bugs and fixing the issues.

I mean, can we be honest here?
Letâs put a list of things here that are valid reasons for a delay:
- Itâs not done and needs work.
- State of the world. Blizzard is based in California, one of the hardest hit by COVID-19 and most locked down states in the nation. It also is impacted by other natural disasters such as fires, power outages, and protests.
- Blizzard Entertainment suffered a wage/labor crisis with its employees.
- All resulting in #1 being even more set back.
Delay was necessary.

Bliz knew perfectly well back when they accounced the data that they could not meet it, yet said nothing till now.
Screwing over people who have booked leave and now most likely cannot move it because no new date has been provided and/or limitations with leave at their workplace.
Great way of screwing over the people that still have jobs.

IMAGINE just getting approved for my week off for the Shadowlands expansion TODAY just to get home just NOW to see itâs now delayed.
IMAGINE wasting my time off that I canât come in for thatâs been covered to NOT play shadowlands on TIME on the GIVEN date.

its not really in âpolishâ state right now, was still testing new mechanics that i wasnt sure Blizzard really knew about like DK weapon swapping for runeforge effects on BETA.
Glad this delay is happening, for those who donât have BETA i can assure you this was NOT CLOSE to being a release product.

Very disappointing. Took a break for a little bit so I didnât go into Shadowlands burnt out. Restarted my sub yesterday since release was almost here just to find this out today. Glad Activision decided to do more work, plus there are 2 other games coming out in the next week/2 that I really want to delve into. However I feel a sting from that resubâŚ

I am sure this screws with the vacations of many. Hopefully you can get back on the schedule and re-book the time off.

Legitimately happy with this decision. Sad that it wasnât ready, but it appeared that going forward with the plan was going to deliver a bad experience. If we get a good xpac Iâm on board.
Please use the time wisely.
