I rolled a new warlock on a different server and wanted to get my fel fire appearance. I got the tome, received the quest, spoke to my minions and its ready for turn in. The problem is, none of the warlock trainers in Orgrimmar have dialogue to continue the quest chain. I guess im not sure which warlock trainer I’m supposed to talk to now since things have changed a bit since the last time I played.
Is it possible that I need to speak to chromie and go into a different timeline?
Yeah it’s not the warlock trainer, at least for Alliance.
For Horde I just did a quick search and it’s Kranosh (54, 35) in Cleft of Shadow.
yep, thats what I found too but I cant even interact with him, much less get dialogue from him.
I should mention this was a boosted character, so theres a few other things not working properly with him…like no chromie options for changing timelines/expansions.
Just to make sure, what’s your current quest? Is it “An Unusual Tome” or is it " Reader for the Dead Tongue"
so, yes it was for “An Unusual Tome”. I reported it as a bug right before I posted this.
I logged back in a few minutes ago and the quest had updated and said “click to complete” so I did, and it reverted back to turning it to my warlock trainer. Long story short, I think some GM intervention took place because i was able to advance it.
Ah… that’s because for “An Unusual Tome” you needed to summon your observer pet to talk to it. After doing so it would’ve given you the quest called “Reader for the Dead Tongue” to go to Kranosh.
Welp, at least now you’re on your way again 
Also a tip: Use Eye of Kilrogg during stage 4 at the Black Temple scenario to see the path of the maze as, if you step onto the traps it’ll kill you quite quickly - I learnt that the hard way

you can also summon your felguard to talk to it! thats what i had to do
how did you report the bug? I’m having the same issue.
I thought we were Warlocks, not necromancers.
