Yes please!! I even bought the new retail expansion as part of my $ vote for the future of WoW. But please, give us a fresh TBC server! I really don’t want to play on a private server, but the itch to play TBC is strong. It seems really unfair that there are so many servers for the other game modes, but not a single TBC server!?!? I don’t care if there are changes or no changes, it’s whatever.

As you can see here a group of people who still ive in 2007 and think time should stand still and stuff never change. Truly fascinating to watch really.
Agree with you mate, Blizzard should have at least just one PvE and one PvP TBC server up, so people can play on, along with WotLK, one of each and just be done with it! Forget Cata “Classic”, they aren’t part of the original design philosophy or story, and so really the first two expansions and Vanilla are the only “Classic” WoW to me! Aligned with the Warcraft strategy series! I hope they don’t continue to milk with “MoP Classic”. Just have the original game in perpetuity! A time machine in effect, a museum piece! That was the cornerstone of the petition that Mark Kern organised in 2016!

The real classic plus! Great talent trees, quest hubs, dubgeons. I’m a fan of Draenei and Blood Elves.
I quit TBC as soon as they confirmed there would be no TBC Era servers.
I refuse to believe that there was little demand for TBC Era yet they went ahead with Cata classic. Cara classic was announced to crickets.

People do want tbc, but sod is packed right now, and really best time would be about a month post dragon soul.

Adding comment for support of a normal permanent TBC era server. Not a SOD TBC server. The only changes I’d like to see for TBC era servers would be to add dual spec and raid wide buffs.

I too would like tbc servers.
What would they do with the perma servers lets say we get a fresh server start and can progress into tbc through sunwell, what happens after S4?
Since it’s a perma server do they just do S5 with brutal gear? Do they make it cosmetic only? Do they add in tabards or new mounts or something?
What about post sunwell pve content if any?

or would it literally just be TBC era with zero changes and after S4/sunwell everyone just does whatever?

just orginal tbc era it could reset every 2 years or 1 and a half to keep with a good flow so people dont just hit max and hit bis and quit like in classic era or it could just be like classic era i dont mind either way

“You think you do, but you don’t” cannot be more true here. People are riding that TBC “nostalgia” high and when they realize they have to regrind dungeon for the rep people leave in masse and the server becomes dead faster than they were alive.
im fine with that thats one of the reasons i want tbc is to enjoy the dungeon and attunement grind
