I just finished maxing another character I was left with a “Really, that’s it?” kind of feeling. Like maxing just happened and I barely noticed.
I like leveling up new characters but XP gains are way too fast for good gameplay. But given how Blizzard sells max level boosts, it would be seen as a greedy move if they just reduce XP gains across the board.
So I’d like an option at the Experience Eliminator NPC to slow down XP gains rather than just stopping XP gains all together.
I don’t see why they couldn’t do this. Options are good.

It would be nice if they did this. I usually do old content on max levels. I wouldn’t mind diving old expacs I skipped if I didn’t out level them in a single zone.

Yea I leveled like 12 characters from 1-10 to 80 and usually takes a day. Most of the time I don’t even know what talents I am picking as I’m leveling too fast to be able to realize what’s happening
At this stage may as well skip the grind to 80 and have the option to just start from 70 off the bat
I was playing classic this month and leveling slow have been so much fun, the gradual up of power level with levels lets me appreciate and get a good feel of every new skill and talent and being able to actually explore multiple areas was very fun experience.
With retail leveling I just spam time walking dungeons and I get 3-4 levels per 15 min run on average
They should give the option to level way slower so I can do all the quests in a time line per max lvl
