An interesting Tweet from Blizzard

Blizzard is completely lax when it comes to things like moderation.

Forum moderation is basically non-existent. It should be like how it is on WoWhead where you see: “Removed: Trolling”, “Removed: Inappropriate”, “Removed: Politics”, etc. People are basically let rampant to troll and spread negativity. They can fix this by making people post with their battlenet account (no alts) and actually punishing people.

Ingame disruption probably refers to interfering with streamers, chat spam, raging, leaving keys, etc.

How convenient that people suddenly don’t want politics in the game since the vegetable in chief got in office.

That’s all chat was for the 4 years of 45. Every day someone dragging on the president. I guess people don’t want to hear about their guy messing stuff up.

Yeah, this is very vague.

Punishing people for words that can be muted is pathetic and one of the reasons why videogames became a joke in the last decade.

This would be dumb to do.

The game is going to become an endless parade of people with hurt feelings over petty stuff.

I rarely talk in game as it stands, this is just more reason to keep to myself.

There’s plenty of toxicity in the realm of pvp. Funnily enough, it’s more often at the lower mmr’s than the high mmr’s, likely because players at the lower mmr’s are incapable of self-reflection and betterment and would rather take out their insecurities via toxic hostility. I’ve gotten plenty of rage whispers at laughable mmr’s.

I had no idea. Also had to google it to figure out what it meant (which honestly is kinda funny now I know).

Honestly i think you’re ok doubt it’s so commonplace that it would be an issue

Hopefully they are addressing the succubus issue

Thankfully I don’t see the trash they vomit over the forums because I have most of them on ignore. But you’re right, the forums have devolved. Hopefully, after Blizzard starts fixing WoW they can start fixing these forums and clean it up for everyone else.

Pfah. For Salyvnas! For the Dark Loogie!

Funny isn’t it? The sound of crickets come to mind as the Nursing Home Candidate destroys the USA more than 45 ever did.

I gave up talking in game a long time ago and i find people on the forum are even worse some have left but others remain who false flag everything they do not agree with. Seen it happen too many times now . The Forum mods are even worse cause they leave hateful post they know should be removed up since it PC to do so.

He is the new number one person who needs to removed. Everyone else is wrong and he is always right.

Oh im well aware. Every thread with this individual is her providing weak arguments while being condescending. When she loses the arguments, its always “you’re a troll, you’re on ignore now”. This is how she operates.

but everyone else is the problem and apparently should be removed from the forums.

Ff and tbc players would give you the shirt off their backs to help out. In retail the players would steal the shirt and treat you terribly.

Hinting at a new class!

These Peace Sims are a new hero class offered to players; they will be immortal, unCCable, appear and fully disappear and will be there to hand out infractions which, if said person is given enough, gets a vacation.

They can find you in your instance, and are alerted by key words in chat even guild chat. Also, you cannot target nor talk with them, but they can talk to you.

First infraction is a 2 hour deserter buff and rez sickness.

Second infraction is your toon cannot run, is muted, and wears a big hat saying I’m a terrible person + first infraction.

Third infraction you get a d/c from game and everyone gets to loot your bank.

We feel this will deter bad behavior. Thank you for your feedback

FF14 is basically Twitters censorship level.

Not a good thing btw.
