An interesting thing about leveling a warrior

While leveling a warrior it is rough especially in pvp where warriors don’t get most of their tool kit 'til over 30.

This leads to being murdered in pvp alot at low levels.

I believe that imbalance at low levels gives some classes (especially warlocks) way too much over confidence when opening on a warrior over level 40. I have had multiple warlocks open on me and die once they found i could close the gap in combat, be immune to fear, and kick their spells

Warlocks open on you because they’re evil.

Pvp at the lower levels with a little level disparity has always been bonkers.

Warrior is the monkey paw class. Most people play it to be strong in PvE and quickly find out it’s a lot of work in PvP.

Even if you’re gnome with all your special items, engineering, and consumes you can still lose after playing something perfectly in PvP.

i mean they may or may notbe evil, but opening on me with out having death coil up isnt evil, its stupid/suicidal. standing there hard casting fear (which is fruitless because i have berserker rage just waiting for it) while i absolutely whale on that cloth armor.

Only way to improve at pvp is to die.

Gotta learn to perfect the limits of your class versus all the others, so perhaps they are newer to warlock and testing their limits.

I hope that fresh gets more people in vanilla pvp, it really has so much potential.

Every class is in this situation - but yeah warriors have it the toughest. Though at bis, esp with flask set, the good players are still very strong duelers.

In my opinion, at the high end you’re either Sisyphus or the boulder and neither are fun to be all the time. I do really like rogue v. warrior as either side tho.

I def prefer being the warrior in that matchup :stuck_out_tongue:

Idk there are a lot of really fun matchups - rogue v mage is super fun and fast.
This pally has a decent chance vs all classes in their bis pvp gear, there’s no matchup I 100% lose.
Warlocks / hunters also have a ton of fun matchups that come down to skill.

Imo the vanilla pvp is basically one of the best games available in terms of combat and balance - there’s no OP class and no underperforming one, and every class is needed in a good WSG team.

theres little point before max level

Why? Pvp at all levels will help one increase their skill. And seeing most players around azeroth they need it.

A lot of the lineups don’t change that much and positioning is still important.

But most of all, a proper fresh release would have pvp on launch. The game is amazing with the entire world a giant battleground in phase 1.

yes, the pvp can really be atrocious lol :expressionless:

this. you need training :expressionless:

The amount of locks who will attempt to fear you while you have Berserker Rage up is amusing.

it really is

Oh man , leveling a warrior on a pvp realm - you are basically a portable practice dummy out in the wild.
