Wait for it.
I’m retired and WoW is what I do to entertain myself. I play 6-8 hours every day. I never felt like I should take a break until today.
I was driving to the grocery store and listening to Gentle Giant (Bluetooth from my phone to car speakers). All of a sudden, the music stopped. I have a touchscreen entertainment system in my car, so I touched play, then fast forward, but nothing was working. I was mashing buttons and nothing was responding. And then I actually thought and said to myself: “I’m lagging.”
And then I started laughing and that’s when it hit me. I guess I should take a break.
For me, that would just reinforce to me how fun WoW is.
Also retired. At one point I decided I needed a break because I started ‘seeing’ Azeroth herbs by the side of the road. : )

I just see it as being a gamer.
I routinely refer to stuff as “mats” and when I make something for someone I refer to it as “crafting the item”. I generally only speak like that to people I know are gamers though, I’d talk normally to regular people
“An indication that I should take a break from WoW”
I found the answer before you got to it.
j/k
Every time I get some sort of office memo that deals with my “coworkers”, I always read it as “cow orkers.”
First thought: They misspelled “orcs.”
Second thought: I wish there were more of us besides Tauren and Orcs, but overall, two solid choices.
Third thought: At least we’re Horde.
Final thought: I wonder if I can get out of this meeting and play WoW.
When a coworker is over eager and tries to shift some work your way you them hell no…you pulled it you tank it.
Only 1 coworker got that no explanation first time used. He quit around MOP lol.
No those are morning enrage timers
My indication it was time for a break from Wow, when I started putting off doing Anything besides sit infront of my computer and play a game.
I took a 12 month break, didn’t think about the game and found other things to pass the time. Picked up playing other games with my wife and kids, no stress to make sure I logged in every day in fear I would miss out on something was nice.

Have you ever asked a salesperson in a store how much “gold” something cost IRL?
