This is all I can think when playing now. I know it’s already been discussed about the cc issues. And then we hear last season that they are once again going to address it. But in the process remove the tricket set bonus and crafted bonus which makes it exactly as it was. An illusion!
Here are some ideas to make pvp more enjoyable and maybe…just maybe more balanced!
All damage dealt to a player who is effected by a crowd control reduced by 50 percent (stuns and hard cc only)
If we are going to give half the classes and specs a full immunity, give them all a full immunity but make it the same for all of them use it. Either they all can still attack, none can attack or all can attack with a reduced damage let’s say 70 percent of normal damage when in full immunity. The idea of balance has to be hokum when a pally bubbles and still blasts all their dps but a dh nethers and just gets to walk or run faster…
But beyond some of the obvious…
Have you considered a better qa process for your changes. I assume the devs work on specific classes and specs and tune based off of numbers…but do they actually play the changes to see what is really happening?
We need to end the meta builds and meta classes and specs. And this is about my.class or soec so much but every player deserves the chance to have a viable toon. We will rework and entire spec because ret is under performing but what about the others that have been sitting gutted for seasons? I want some love for my frost dk brothers and sisters! This week I have not played much. But it seems just so muffed up that 95 percent of matches have at least one of the same spec in them.
I wish we could finally after all of these years redesign this so that there are no dead specs and that everyone has a chance to compete and enjoy the game.
I will give credit where it’s due. The gearing now is amazing! You have provided so many great options! Some of the casual pvp is super fun and if you could.find a way to make rated epics where you q in like SS but groups are limited to 5 players to q like we did in ashran that would be so amazing! You guys know how to build it because we have seen portions of it in the past. But never all together! Take all that worked and redesign based on that.
