You’d go for the easier execution strat and probably run into dps issues. Go behind the portal.
A lower version of race to world last.

fix what about it?
People don’t want to engage in content where 90% of the time you are just going to wipe. It’s why mythic raid boosts are so rampant, many people don’t find the content fun. Why force people into content they don’t find fun? Afterall what’s good for the goose is good for the gander!
Lets remove all mythic loot from all sources and put it in delves to force players into delves. See how fast people scream XD (an example of content many high end raiders find not fun ;D)
There’s just not much reason to run Mythic Raid unless you want the bragging rights.
Raiding is super frugal with gear drops, so it’s not good for gearing up.
M+ is faster.
The mount might be appealing to sell carries to collectors, so I know raids will sell their services for that reason, but other than that?
Most players, like 97% of the playerbase, simply does not play on the level that requires anyway. And you need others on that same high skill level and gear, to proceed.
Raiding as a whole, kind of fell off in terms of participation ever since more alternatives to endgame arrived. (Namely M+, but also Delves too now. LFR is also to blame, as-is the new Story Mode. It just isn’t necessary to run a raid, for people wanting to see the story/lore. In the past, it was.)
It was already losing popularity, and thus the highest difficulty won’t fare much better.
Apparently there isn’t enough people doing mythic raid apparently. If people want changes to increase participation, people in general have to stop engaging with mythic raid. That way the metrics reflect the issue and devs will have to fix something to bring the metrics back in line.
Complaining there is an issue, but engaging with the content anyways shows the devs in terms of metrics that everything is fine.
It’s not “fixing” moreso than trying to grief people into engaging with something that’s fundamentally broken.
If you want to increase mythic raid engagement, they need to remove raid lockouts. Playing hard content has the fun negated when it’s ran like a weekly job where you’re at the whim of so many other players and have to fight over weekly timegate lootz.
The reason of “people not controlling themselves” doesn’t really excuse ruining an entire game mode turning it into an unfun job/chore.
Yea, I kinda hope the devs double down on griefing m+ players into mythic raiding even more, so it backfires and they finally rework the weekly vault and raid lockouts. The game is already in a bad unfun weekly chore state, but they’re not going to fix that unless the whole game crash and burns from diving headfirst even more into their continued bad decision making.
It’s going to take some more “you think you do but you don’t” moments tanking the game before they admit they were wrong about some things.
What reason?
And yet regularly by seasons end people are pugging mythic. The only gate from full clears is the mythic lockout itself. It’s an inconvenience, not a preventative measure. Your point is moot.
So skilled, quality players should be kept from participating because they can’t prune their 25 man heroic guild down to exactly 20 or bring their 15 man group up to exactly 20, and have no flexibility if anyone from those 20 can’t make raid for a night? That is objectively stupid and you know you’re arguing in bad faith. Hit the bench Snozy. You’re trolling poorly, as usual.
Yup, unfortunately the devs don’t see a problem with getting people to hate play content as an unfun weekly chore, because they’re sunk costed chasing after a mount or mog.
They’re getting their engagement metrics, but by cannibalizing the game and making it a wholly unfun and toxic job.
I’m worried that they view the rewards propping up participation of an boring and uninteresting system as an intended design goal and feature of M+.
That applies to all their content, and mythic raid is an especially big offender of that. They utilize their easy button of forcing engagement metrics so they don’t get fired by corporate.
Which circles back to the earlier statement.
I used to like mythic raid, back in like Legion and BFA, but either I got worse or it got harder but anything past the first few bosses is too much for me now. I might try to pug the early bosses so I can actually spend my dinars instead of them rotting in my bags, but my days of chasing CE are over.
Difficulty hadn’t shifted that much. And since you heal, it’s likely everyone else around you got worse.
It designed for organized groups
To curb sales
Mythic is supposed ot be a team thing
Mythic isnt designed to be pugged
Pugging the early free bosses isnt the same as pugging full clears which do NOT happen.
25 people is an ideal number. You rotate people in and out you dont run the same 20.
Work on recruitment. If you cant pas the first test of recruitment then you wont have a chance on the harder bosses.
Nope the rules are there for a reason. Mythic is designed to take some effort which is why its the hardest.
Nah every single CE raider in here has said the same thing. Its not trolling when its true and you dont know how it works
The ideal range is 23-26 IMO.
Yeah, in the end it isn’t super important to me. I am a little sad about the Dimensius mount because it’s nice looking and I collect mounts, but I guess I can farm it in 2 expacs if I am still playing. I did buy the Fyrakk mount because I love it, but I haven’t been too successful at gold making this expac.
We have 27 but 2 of them are bench first players due to work schedules and fill in when they can.
People that have been with the guild a long time but irl stuff came up
i dont think we need more. it’s a very niche place. let the best of the best be there and enjoy heroic.
If you removed access to mythic items from mythic+ players by removing the vault, you would dramatically effect the game. I know that you enjoy mythic raiding. But statistically speaking, it is by far the least popular thing in the game, with exception to maybe pvp, and that may not even be true anymore. Doing really anything more to elevate it beyond the most popular thing the game has ever had would be suicide
You would not. M+ players cap out at lower levels.
And knocking 1 level off 20? is whatever.
M+ isn’t about loot fundamentally, it’s about going as high as you can.
