So obviously blizzard has no intention of bringing back old elite pvp sets. We already know that. So here’s an idea. How about during time walking week, they introduce recolors of those sets sort of like how they did with the new mage tower sets. I think it’s a really neat way of increase participation in pvp. After all who doesn’t want a recolor of old elite sets? The only thing is what rating would be required to unlock these sets. In my opinion I would say 2k is a fair rating or maybe even 2100. After all we want these sets to say “hey im elite”. idk something along those lines.
If you revert to wotlk, I’ll agree, you can have the 2200 elite weapon skins if you earn 2200 in the apropriate timewalked meta. Like literally revert the client in timewalked arena to 3.3.5 and let people compete to ratings on a micro ladder, sure.
If it’s just pretending to be lv 80 with skuffed stats, modern class design, and some cute animation changes.
no.
What I’m interested in, is will WOTLK classic Achievements carry over onto live, sincei it’s the same account and achievements will exist.
Will stuff like Realm first titles and Flawless victor return?
No, no, absolutely not.
as in, you’re categorically against this possibility? Or you don’t think it will happen.
It’s a good idea but at this point they should be focused on upping participation. Remove the high rating requirement to get people playing. After all, if only 3% of the player base will get it, what’s the point in trying if you know you probably don’t have a chance to get it?
Blizz does need ideas like this but it should be aimed at upping participation, not prestige. We have plenty of things that 99% of the player base will never get.
They’ll probably do realm firsts, yeah.
Yes.
I knew you were gonna do that.
Flawless victor was like undefeated above 2200 or in other words a deathknight title. the specifics of how to earn it were a little more specific. I think it was basically just a more extreme version of hotter streak. idr. I think it died before s5 ended. removed along with the titles. Do you think that will return as well? or just realm firsts. don’t inclusive or me please.
Old achievements would not carry over. Same way old achievments didnt carry over to TBC classic and Classic SOM.
I think during timewalking week you shouldn’t be able to post during an expansion you weren’t born yet in, so until BFA TW happens we get a nice break from you dozer.
Classic and tbc didn’t originally have achievements so. That made sense for me. But I’m wondering if wotlk will be difference since it was the dawn of achievement
Blizzard actually did bring back the appearance of an elite weapon for time walking vendor. So, never say never.
I’m still in shambles over this.
One can only hope.
Honestly it probably was 2k, it’s been a loooong time I don’t recall specifics. Either way it was just the next stage on hotter streak iirc.
Yeah big nope
