Thanks for reading this. I am an older gamer, and would love to learn WoW RP. I have RP experience gorm SWTOR, but little here. I have read most of the books, so am fairly familiar with the lore. My problem is I am quite shy about getting invoved and am easily intimidated by more experienced RPers. I have joined several guilds with all the best intentions, but usually drop out for this reason. I tried MG server, but it was worse there. I really enjoy Emerald Dream. I have found that my biggest obstacle is that I prefer DH to anything else by far. Is there a guild out there on either side that would have a place for a DH like me? I also love the pvp aspect. There are a lot of guilds to choose from, especially for those interested in RP and PVP, and new to WOW RP is just fine. We all start somewhere. There are advertisements heree on the forum to look over, but also joining the discord channels for horde and alliance on ED will probably yield some answers for you.

Greetings blood-child! The Lord Tact heard your plea, and has sent me a divine revelation of advice specifically for you.
Once upon a time, I was a player in the Stormwind Theater Troupe. Before I was kicked out for allegedly practicing “heinous blood sacrifices in the broom closet,” I learned from one of the very best actors that Stormwind has ever known. He was a man of many names, and perhaps didn’t ever use his real one, even off the stage.
His advice to me was to just “power through it.” Now, I was asking about how to cut thick meat and bones with a dull knife (At the time, I apprenticed as a butcher as well, of course), but his advice applies to you as well! As the Lord Tact once said, “Ignore the haters.” Just be yourself on the stage, and the light will shine! Now that might have been the theater lights, but I like to think my own personal radiance contributed to the brightness of the theater as well.
There is no shame in learning how to act as another. The skill comes naturally, and all you have to do is simply start. Also, make sure you enunciate clearly. None of this spewing of consonants I hear on the streets. What is ex dee anyway?

Hey Pritt, sorry to see you’re still searching for a spot where you feel “at home”. It can be tough sometimes but you just gotta keep at it.
I know you tried KTM on your Warlock, but I remember you really had your heart set on playing a DH which unfortunately didn’t fit into our race/class restrictions.
