What a joke

how is other people’s boosting destructive to you - I boosted did it hurt you? If so tell me how and as a test when I boosted.

See, you don’t care.

Thank you for proving my point. You’ve demonstrated you’re not being honest, in this conversation and will continue to spread lies.

Blocking you, now. You proved yourself to be a liar.

This will only minimize social interaction between pugs imo. If you want to fix toxicity dont fire 800 support staff and have active GM people come in when stuff gets toxic like you use to.

You guys added in all this Instanced content that doesnt require a social contract with people because you just queue for it which by itself creates a toxic environment. Then you fire all your support staff.

Classic didnt have this problem when Queuing content\pug content didnt exist because if you are toxic you will just not be invited into groups and people will know that you are a bad apple. Cross server\queueable content has its benefits but socially it has been really bad for the game.

If mplus was in classic and somebody just left the group they wouldnt get into another group for a long time. But due to having no community you can just queue for a pug and leave with zero social impact to yourself.

As long as this report stuff doesnt turn into automated bans and you have active support staff reviewing it and going into the party to see what is happening then there is no issue.

This was never a thing despite what you may have read by some players.

Oh, but they use it “interchangeably”, so it makes it “OK”

No, it’s being dishonest and spreading false panic and fear, that people will be perma-banned

If only you came to that conclusion earlier. :joy:

He never said anything offensive. On the other hand, you did that, calling him not honest and a liar.

Did you just…quote and reply to yourself?

It does not really matter what the reason someone has for a name is, if Blizz feels it is not appropriate they remove it. First offense is a free rename. After that they start suspending.

Again, this has been in game since 2004! This i not new and we get threads on the CS forum fairly often with people complaining that they got a rename or suspension. It has gone on for years. The option to right click report it has been there for years. We can report guild name and pet names too.

Thank you for being a reasonable one. I even already apologized here.

They leave before any mistakes can even be made

They are trolls

They are there to troll

That is completely different from someone leaving mid-run

I try to be reasonable. Order out of chaos. I chose Kyrian, after all.

This is amazing and has been needed for such a long time.
I just really hope they actually hire people to look at the reports and follow up on them instead of just releasing this news and the social contract… hoping it scares people away from being toxic.

I think we both know its going to get automated to hell and people will get banned for out of context chats.

I agree, if this report system is purely for actual people that will come into the world and tell people off like the old days then im happy for it.

He was being antagonistic towards me and mocked me, when I merely stated to use the correct terminologies, but he refused to do that and focused on me, instead.

He is being dishonest:

This was talking about me, and he defamed my image and misrepresented what I was saying.

I find that very offensive, insulting, dishonest and a lie. And, he never apologized for it and continued antagonizing me about it.

I will edit it and change it to “suspend” for you.

Hmm?

Bottom line, if real ppl aren’t reviewing what I foresee as many reports in the near future it could be a disaster.

I’ll just have to munch on popcorn from now on when I’m being silly on this bear.

They have not fired 800 support staff related to CS/GMs. Not lately anyway.

In 2012 they laid off 600 CS folks. Since then they released many more games and hired lots of staff.

Last layoffs were marketing, esports, community managers, publications, etc. There were around 14 from CS laid off in the GM type role.

The 800 figure was all ATVI (Activision, Blizzard, King). Blizzard laid off a bit over 200.

Legally all the job titles laid off had to be disclosed to the CA Govt. This article has the document at the end with all the layoffs. It was not 800, and only a tiny few were GMs.
