I already said you won the debate, move on.
Do… do you just have those sitting around or?
Well I know you don’t.
Yeah, why would I? Like that’s super cringe dude.
I must have triggered you at some point in the conversation. I apologize, so feel free to move so this thread doesn’t become more derailed any longer.
You haven’y provided anything new. I’ll keep correcting people everytime they misuse the word “ban”, as a fear tactic, into scaring people, in a dishonest way.
Your accounts are fine. At best, you’ll be Squelched which just means your chat privileges are limited, but you can still play, farm your mounts, do PvP, raid, etc. You know, the stuff you’re supposed to be doing instead of trolling public chat channels?
Will be like always for most probably. They will just click agree and continue playing the game like usual.
You didn’t get triggered. (I ment I didn’t get triggered omg I messed up LOL)
You did that way before I came along
infact the only reason I’m responding to you to begin with is because you responded to me.
Why trolling? He is just quite respectfully disagreeing with you.
Now, this isn’t anything against you, but if Blizz actually cared about their naming policy, I’d report you, for inappropriate name. However, IK those reports mean diddly squat 'cause you can still just type in the same name, when you receive that name change. That one is (also) automated.
I don’t have an inappropriate name though what the.z
lol I’ve literally put in gm tickets before with this name mentioned in the gm ticket and never had an issue… at all… I had to in order to use the unstuck service with an issue in torgast (if I remember correctly)
As someone who has been falsely reported and ended up suspended before, I feel like this isn’t gonna change anything. Blizzard should ask people for actual proof of toxicity or bad behaviour via screenshots before they “take action” against someone. It’s pretty obvious. Still miss the days where a gm would actively message you in-game to talk about the issue instead of the system being automated.
I didn’t specifically call him a “troll”. I explained the process of how the Squelching system works which really disallows you (a general you, no one in particular, can’t believe I have to specify this, every single time ) to communicate, in the public chat channels. And, what point is a Squelch really a “ban”?
Neither do I.
Are they gonna crack down on innuendo? Bc everything can be dirty if so.
The Social Contract is a good thing in theory.
In practice it will be a further weapon against non American English speakers.
Some names I’ve seen lol
Littlejohn = innocent
Longhose = innocent
Melonlover = innocent
Examples.
I could see the trolls reporting this though. Where does it end? We’re all gonna have to be silent.
It’s what it always boils down to. People feeling like they’re not doing anything wrong.
I don’t understand why you need the word “butt”, in your name, but I already know naming policy is at the bottom of Blizz’s priority list.
Premades, large communities, groups of friends, groups of guildies are probably licking their lips at these expanded report options - all the new “opportunities” they will have for abusive mass-filing of false reports + handing out automated penalties/bans against players they don’t like (but who did nothing wrong against the TOS)
…to a lesser extent, common everyday trolls/griefers are probably excited as well; now it will be even easier for these types to file false reports during random trade chat debates, random disputes during dungeons, kicking someone out of LFR, etc etc
Which I already stated I use the words ban/suspension interchangeably, similarly to how I have used temporary ban (temp ban) as a substitute for suspension before.
Yours is an innuendo? Anyway. Mine is cause I’m a vulpera and I’m fuzzy.
See above. Plus I call my cat a butt when she is being mean or mischievous.
