An expansion without new raids, dungeons, or bgs

would you accept an expansion without those things but instead they just focused on player customization giving many more choices to all player races and maybe give older expansions a visual update and storyline instead?

You are full of horrible ideas today. No, I would not spend money on an x-pack without any new content…

This is like the worst marketing survey ever, lol.

No, its dead on arrival. 0 reason to play.

Probably not, give me the dungeons, give me all the dungeons

No, but I’d accept a patch that was nothing but bug fixes.

Absolutely not.

No. I would cancel my sub the moment this was announced.

What do I do after I make my character look prettier and stare at new looking zones?

That wont keep you busy for just under 2 years?

I mean… don’t get me wrong… I enjoy making characters look pretty… but… lol

Loot Reborn over at Diablo 4, was an entire patch dedicated to fixing the games gearing issues.

So all things are possible.

Sure let’s have it. I mean I won’t stay subbed for it but go for it.

Even as a solo player that only ever bothers with delves and follower dungeons now, no I would have zero interest in an expansion like that.

It would be considered a complete failure

So sort of like certain patches in WoD?

As I recall, those went down very well, marketwise.

An expansion? No

A patch, yes

There would need to be some gameplay updates to replace the lack of new delves/raids/dungeons. For example, I just started a Dracthyr warrior and have been leveling through WOD. I finished off frostfire ridge and am moving through gorgorond.
While this kind of thing is a lot of fun, there would need to be tuning and unlockable rewards for progress, for it to have long term (xpac cycle) appeal. You need a healthy size population for wow to work, spreading out subscribers over every single bit of prior content dilutes it to be unplayable (private servers tried/failed at this).

That said 100% yes more customisations and unlockables over a living world is much much better than raid tiers. Also would love more story from characters we know and/or blizzard have forgotten about.

E.G Mankrik hunting down quilboar/adapting to new second wife (leaving him out of BFA was criminal)!!!

WoW would instantly die.

No. I’d say I’ll get it for free when the actual next expansion drops, but a 2.5 year content drought will kill this game. Any game.

No.
