Feign death
MM pvp is the definition of “must play with front line”. If you get to sit back you can do damage but…stringing steady shots while running forever due to hundreds of in game gap closers…makes for a doo doo time.
BM is the only Hunter spec that doesn’t feel clunky, SV has been turned into a god awful melee experiment (again), and MM just never feels “smooth” for lack of a better word.
I would say it’s partly due to all the “standing still” Blizzard doubles down on with this spec for some reason, but also the fact that aimed, steady, and arcane shot just aren’t abilities to get excited over…
If I was to suggest something that would immediately improve MM, I would say-
-
Aimed Shot needs to be completely taken out of the standard rotation, and be looked at as purely a fight opener with 50% increased damage if used from stealth, turning this into more of an ambush ability. This ability just isn’t fun to use as part of a standard rotation, and otherwise feels out of place…
-
Steady Shots should stack a debuff on targets (up to 5) that function not unlike combo points for Rogue, unlocking shots with different effects/damage/durations based on the # of stacks.

Bring back Kill Shot…
Do this and you will see people fall in love with Hunter again.
2.4 second aimed shot, and cant attack because enemy goes too far…
