Many would suggest why would the lightforged have “Rogues” in its ranks. Simply put we are assassins, and spies, inquisitors. We obtain vital information and take out priority targets in the name of the holy light.
Not all who work with the light are paladins and priests. Sometimes the light works best when it’s unseen. Turning the legion and other forces own wicked techniques against them. Mortals aren’t the only ones who can succumb to torment. Demons too feel pain.

I would have thought it would be: “we have always had scouts, unseen to our enemies, so that we can counter their nefarious plans” but you can choose your own path, I guess.
The light is righteous in it’s reckoning. We have no need to mince words or pretend to be gentler than our enemy. We cannot defeat the legion, the void, and other threats through kindness and mercy.
