The quest “An Arcane Requiem” which is part of the main DF storyline in Crystalsong Forest is being griefed by players killing the quest mob literally over and over for the past 20 minutes. It needs fixed ASAP!!!
Unfortunately, that’s not something that can be “fixed” by CS. If you have some feedback on making a change to a quest, I’d recommend either posting in the Quest forum or using the in-game suggestion feature.
That said, if something in-game can be killed, it’s not considered “griefing” for people to be killing it or them.

So they can just kill it over and over while dozens of people stand here, unable to continue/complete it?

you’re supposed to click the extra action button, and then kill the big mob. The problem is, only one person can do it at a time. Once the big mob dies, the next person can click their extra action button to start the ritual. You want the big mob to die quickly so you can get a chance to click your button before anyone else… it’s still a very poor design.

Just click where extra action button show up as fast as you can until you get quest complete. Take forever though because this mob getting killed super fast. You do not have to target to get where extra action button so just stand near that and click like crazy.

It’s definitely designed poorly and needs a hotfix, considering it’s a part of the new campaign quest that dropped today.
