AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2 & WoW

I am about to build a new high-end system and wanted some opinions on any possible issues that I might encounter while running WoW on an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2 platform. I have heard that some people have experienced "odd" issues with games including lag because of the Infinity Fabric tech within the Threadripper CPU as well as other issues relating to the AMD platform. Any opinions would be helpful and I hope everyone has a great day.

If all you do is game you will see better performance with a 2700X then a thread ripper. or wait for the 2800X to release

Why would you want to use a workstation CPU for WoW? Since WoW only uses 1 thread (and maybe 2 threads in 8.1) the slower speed per CPU is going to make WoW run slower.

Threadripper is designed for applications that use many threads, like professional video creation and rendering and such… Basically you’re going to be throwing your money away.
