AMD Ryzen 7 5th Gen Access Violation

It has been really bad the past couple of weeks. I just updated my Nvidia Drivers today to the latest drivers. Thought it would fix it but it Access Violation crash in the last 10 mins twice.

No one can read that random code, it’s for developers to track bugs.

Since access violations are a Windows error, what steps did you perform to troubleshoot aside from driver updates?

I have shut off add ons, deleted some Weak Auras, closed other applications, turned down all of my graphics to low. What else should I be tracking?

The steps are outlined here:

Choose crashing from the menu.

Are you running an overclock or are you letting the motherboard manage processor speed. He actually want to post clean error. And the DX diag I can take a look and see if I can figure out what is crashing could be something very simple also temperatures while running the game

No overclocking at all. Temps are at 70C at full load. It seems to crash more when I’m in Dorn, but did a full 5 hours of mythic plus and raiding last night and no crashes. it’s so weird.

You have power now disabled? Power now and speed step both are overclocks they’re just AI overclocks. And both generally create unstable system conditions especially in wow.

How do I check that? AFAIK I do not have either of those. Everything as far as Bios and OS are all default.

Can you post a dxdiag please.
1)Press the Windows key and enter ‘dxdiag’ in the search box.

2)Select the dxdiag app.
When DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens, select the Run 64-bit DxDiag button.

You’ll see a green progress bar in the bottom-left of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window while the program is gathering information.

When the progress bar disappears, it means your report is ready.

Select Save All Information.

Save the file to your desktop (make sure it’s saving as a text file) and give it a name you’ll remember.

Select Exit.

Open the file you saved above . Select all copy and paste to pastebin.com and post the link here

You are having 141 crashes which are generally graphics crashes. Try a clean graphics driver install after using ddu.

And you are several bios versions behind - with ryzen that has been key for stability - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B550-TOMAHAWK/support

Thank you @zungar, I’m flushing out the drivers with DDU and updating the Bios to the latest (non beta) file now. I’ll report back if anymore crashes.
