Edit Appears the game can still crash in DX 11 with AFMF on.
Although us AMD 7 series users are being stuck playing in DX 11 so we dont crash, the newest AMD Drivers offers a new tech called AMD Fluid Motion Frames. (Frame generation technology) and you can enable it without having to upscale or downscale the resolution. Not sure if anti lag should be enabled or disabled with AFMF on though.
Turning this setting on, I went from 80-90 fps in valdrakken to 170-200 fps. You won’t see the fps increase with the in-game fps meter, you will need to check the fps tracker on AMD radeon software to see the new value.
I just enabled it, have to test. Let me know if you guys have any experiences to share with it.
*seems Optimizations for Windowed games (In windows graphics settings) needs to be on for this to function in WoW.
