So, yeah, did SoO and saw those models…

To my surprise, not tameable, I mean, those are THE DREAM TAME of all orc hunters out there, specially because they have HORDE BANNERS, cant get better them that.

I will go cry in my dark corner now… thanks Blizz.

:person_shrugging: I’m kind of glad some things aren’t tameable to be honest.

Personally, I’d rather hunters not had been able to tame the owl-cat because it took a sloppy colossal brown dump on the awe-appeal & aesthetic for the druids hidden-artifact form appearance. :face_exhaling:

:sweat_smile: I swear though, hunters are always like: “IF IT BREATHES – ME WANTS TO TAME IT.”

I love how you’re assuming they were designed first as druid forms and not as random beasts, considering the models were in Val’sharah and Azsuna as random beasts well before they added the druid hidden artifact skin on beta.

The wolf OP linked is actually one of the Vicious Saddle wolf mounts, the Kor’kron wolf is different.

I’m pretty sure I recall them previewed in a panel before the expansion as potential druid forms, so kind of yeah. lol

Besides, whether or not they even were planned or not — The owlcat form was a druid appearance well & truly before they were tameable by hunters. :person_shrugging:

If druids later had a ‘channel-beast’ spell on rare tameable exotic & spirit-beasts that despawned them via “Bringing them into the dream” – Hunters would have riot :joy: lol, not just for the competition but because they’d feel it removes the special aspect of having them.

  • Eg. Recommend exotic beasts being used in any spec outside of BM on the forums and you have hoards of them vehemently raging about how it apparently “removes the worth of the entire spec” etc.

Same thing for the Ango’rosh Hunter, an undead spirit Hound from WoD. The majority of Undead beasts can be tamed now but this one isn’t, and I’d love to add it to my stable.

I think there’s some of those in Tanaan jungle for you to tame. I’d look into world zones near iron horde bases.

The fact that Nightmare Ursoc isn’t tamable is a crime…

Not going to lie if they give Horde druids a pack form before Worgen I am not going to be happy.

They’d probably just make pack-forms for both factions in all honestly.

As stated — The Owlcat was useable by druids long before it was tameable by hunters …
