I was a bit worried, but it came out beautiful! My favorites are the animated resting XP icon, and the cast bar graphic! So much better, but most of it is great, and I’m sure most of the kinks will eventually get smoothed out!

Yeah i feel like I’m one of the few that actually likes it…

I had a post on reddit a day ago, and most of the feedback was positive. Maybe like 10% was dissatisfied, but the majority were on board!

I absolutely like it more than the default. That being said it’s not enough to get me to stick with it. I’ll be replacing it with addons soon.

I think it turned out well. I logged in and didn’t have to make any adjustments. I like how I have 3 bars on top of each other and the chat box isn’t in my way anymore. I now have my health and the targets health in the middle of the screen.
I’ve read a lot of complaints and it had me nervous logging in to see the changes this morning when I logged in for the first time this week. For reference, I play on a 55-60" 4k tv using 4k resolution. A lot of comments I’ve seen are coming from people used to using add-ons or a small 27" monitor.

It looks awful, the location of everything, the transparency, nothing being connected. Makes me feels sick.
They could have kept the old ui and gave people the option to move things instead…

I’ve been waiting for this, because I like reverting to the default UI, but the classic one just wasn’t good imo. This one is wayy better. It’s a big step in the right direction.
I like it as well. I think some of the design decisions need to be reconsidered, such as the incredibly small clock. Other things are needlessly large, like the LFG icon. The sizing being inconsistent just makes no sense to me. I think another reason people don’t like it is because 1) the new UI takes time to learn and 2) the new talents take time to learn. Most people probably feel overwhelmed, which makes any annoyance with the new UI seem that much more terrible. Just my opinion though.

It’s fair enough. A few things are on the small size, but I had no issues with them. Maybe they can allow us to resize them eventually.
I’m so jaded I can’t tell if the OP is being sarcastic.

Not at all. I saw some feedback before I even logged in, and was a bit worried, but I like it way better than the classic default UI. For me, almost every single facet of the UI is better. At first admittedly it was awkward relearning where everything was, and what certain functions do, but overall, it’s a huge improvement in my eyes.
its more than we think. Its (the haters) a few posters alt swapping again. they did the same thing with multiboxing threads a long while back.

Also, people content and happy with the changes most of the time don’t announce it on forums. When people are unhappy though lol, we know what happens.

Lmao, nice denial. There’s no way people disagree with you, you’re so right. Just like all those people who prefer classic wow over retail. All just one guy multiboxing.

The new UI is by far better than the old one.

I think it will come around if you give it time.
I like the change. And, unlike ElvUI I no longer have to sit here and meticulously change 500 different fonts just to get everything to use the same font. New UI is a lot simpler and more consistent, even if there are other things that needs tweaked

right!
It’s like having bartender, grid, clique, and move anything all baked in. It’s still in an early stage, but it’s a good good start.

It is an upgrade to the default UI but falls short of even some of the most basic addons. Specifically the scaling of various elements, and the customizable scaling and even WHAT can be scaled.
I was very disappointed to find the raid group UI is actually a downgrade from what we had before. I might find myself using a UI mod simply to correct this and the scaling issue of the rest of the UI.

Admittedly I haven’t even seen the raid frames yet. What is the difference?
