I see its available if you own both wow and diablo 4. I own wow but i dont own diablo 4. If i bought it does it just show up in my inventory or do i need to play diablo 4 to a certain point to unlock it? Also if i need to log into diablo 4 do i need the base game too so should i buy the combo pack? Or is it one of those that i wait until after jan 13th and it shows up in my bags?
You need to own the base Diablo game. You don’t even need to play it, the mount will be added to your collection.
You need to purchase both War Within, as well as the Diablo expansion Vessel of Hatred to get it. Then it will be delivered by January 13th. Whether this means it goes straight to your in-game inventory or whether you have to claim it on the launcher first, I don’t know.
If you purchase Diablo and the expansion on another console, you do need to link the accounts, as well as log in to Diablo once.

They showed up in inventory
I have d4. Just got back into wow like two months ago. When I first logged in I got it. At the time I had no idea where it came from lol
To contradict previous posts in this thread, I do not have vessel of hatred and did not have the war within when I received the Mount. I just got war within maybe two to three weeks ago but automatically received the Mount when I first logged back in a couple months ago.
The first way to get Amalgam of Rage was to preorder D4. If you did that it’s been waiting for you to redeem since then, but has been unobtainable since (to my understanding).
The recent promotion was to own D4 and the new xpac Vessel of Hatred and TWW, and log in to both D4 and TWW during the promotion window (which ended last week).
After that, go to the website, go to redeem gifts, and accept the promotion pack. Then the pet Baa’lial and mount Amalgam of Rage can be unwrapped in your pet/mount tabs.
I redeemed mine this morning.
For some reason gifts never show up in my client so I had to go through the website. Might just be a me problem but if anyone else doesn’t see it on the client check the website. o/
