Am I the only Warlock

… who thinks that Warlocks should be able to summon without any help?

We don’t need any help to create soulwells that dispense lots of candy to lots of people.

I’d even settle for needing 1 person to help summon instead of 2.

Aren’t we powerful enough to just pluck people from where they are to the Warlock’s current location? I think we are. At least at level 60.

Eh. Random thought during downtime, but not the first time it’s crossed my mind.

Oh, summon people.

Idk makes it feel more alive.

Plus I already get enough summon me warlock spam when I join a world boss group. I do not want that to get worse.

You’re basically a Meeting Stone with a heartbeat - that’s it. :frowning:

Sure why not. Then all my M+ group except our Lock could be lazy.

I know. It’s just terrible, really. Good way to put it, Vile.

It does get irritating.

I am pretty quick about laying down my summon stone if I see people aren’t near, or are recently invited. But I still need 2 folks to click.

Sometimes people are standing right in front of it, and it seems like they are allergic to clicking it. They jump around, dance, and meanwhile, I am trying to get every one here to get the show on the road.

Then people start saying:

“Warlock summon please.”

And Im like:

“I have been trying to. I cant summon alone, and these oblivious jerks jumping around me wont click.”

And then finally, people click.

It would be nice if I could summon people alone.

I understand. But I know that Warlocks are NOT lazy. At lease this one isn’t.

Just wait until they reintroduce shards to summon

Oh boy, you hit the nail on the head. I am quick to drop a Warlock summon, and it’s excruciating to have people just stand there as if they haven’t seen me do it, or haven’t seen my pleas in Raid chat and /say. Frustrating!

I use a very shiny addon called SoulSpeak. It is incredible and easily customizable. It may appear out of date, but I assure you that it’s quite functional. All Locks should check it out. You’re welcome.

You’ve almost made me cry, Saangreal.

If Warlocks could open the summoning portal and summon people solo, it would be so much more fun being a warlock. Plus it’d be a LOT easier to help out newbie friends/etc.

Fully agree! Let me summon allies from across the worlds with no help save that of my trusty blue friend.

I get the ‘summon me’ quite a bit too. But just think how much easier it could be if we didn’t need 2 other people to get them!

Eh. I can dream, can’t I?

If they ever let locks summon on their own, I can’t promise I would not set the portal facing a cliff drop or something regularly…

…my warlock was a bank alt/bag factory that got boosted at the end of MoP, he has no chill. The most he ever got played was during the savage blood farming days.

I had been playing my lock in classic going, I need a 100 slot bag just for shards!

I hear that. They should have been stackable!

I hadn’t thought of that because… I’m actually a nice Warlock. No insult to you, of course. <3 To each his/her own.

And thus every warlock was always made to run to every dungeon everywhere for eternity because no one else ever need go there while the warlock existed.

That’d be horrible.

That’s a very good point, Shadina! That’s why I’d accept 1 person to help. Why must we have 2? Still, you have a valid point.

I made some serious moolah selling summons in classic. I got like 50 gold a piece helping a group get to Kargath.

I was struggling with elemental farming in the bad lands cliffs due to other players tagging, so I just sat in town helping high levels join up faster.

I did have to beg two people to help me summon. But luckily they were bored.
