Yet…
I wanted it for pvp. I wanted player housing to be able to flag for warmode so you could raid others houses and have your own set up for raids, too.
I thought that’d be fun and funny but I don’t think they’re going to do that so no, I’m not really interested.
That is you, I still go chill in my class hall just to admire my army.
I want a house to admire my trophies. I want a Trophy Lodge.
I’m not that big on houses but it’s fine. My house in FF14 is mostly where I store my junk.
Once this dumb thing is live in WoW, I’ll have a house in just about every major MMO on the market lol.
I’m not into it and I’m.just going to ignore it. I have a house irl I have to take care of, I don’t want a virtual house to be responsible or too
Thankfully, I don’t need to clean and dust my virtual house lol. I can’t wait though to make a trophy room.
I amhappy I got player housing in ffxiv. its very nice
Maybe it will be like Animal Crossing and if you don’t log in enough it will get cockroaches that you have to kill.
Really? Describe to me an MMORPG housing. Tell me how engaging to play it. Make sure it’s different to a Barbie game.
What’s a barbie game? As far as I know, there are horse ranch games and all sorts of different types of barbie games. But if you don’t like “barbie” games, you must not like transmog either because that’s just playing dress up. I also see that you’ve currently transmogged some of your armor though, so how is that different?
The obsession with player power and absolutely nothing else is a large part of what has killed the popularity of WoW as a whole. Sometimes it’s not about eking out another 0.2% dps, sometimes it’s about…just having fun
And if having fun for you means exclusively increasing your player power then more power to you, but why then is it unfair to develop things for other people to enjoy? I personally get no enjoyment from PvP in any form, but I’m not going to act like I’m being treated unfairly because they brought back Plunderstorm
It’s just a place for RP’ers to have privacy for their ERP.
I love the idea of housing that’s why when Draenor came out I was so excited but they messed that up royally. I’m glad it’s coming back as more or less of a cosmetic non-crucial capacity.
It seems like they are going to limit where housing will be to 2 zones initially which sucks I would’ve loved a house in the Ghostlands but none the less it will be great for people like me who enjoy housing.
If in fact you absolutely don’t care about it that’s fine too they’re not making it mandatory like in Draenor so if somewhere down the line you do decide to have a house you can make one and do nothing else to it…just have it. Cosmetics will be earnable in game or store which is actually a good thing imo.
OP, I hear what you’re saying, but the game is declining so it is what it is.
player housing is a sign of declination?
What if I were to tell you people like OP was… out of touch?
in know some people wanted it but im in the ’ not interested’ category.
due to the amount of bugs in the game not getting fixed and the lack of actual new content being pushed out its obvious that they have less resources to work on the game now , adding playing housing just takes more resources away from developing the gameplay i want (which is not a version of the sims) .
- imo it will just be a rehashed version of your garrison where you get to pick the wallpaper and a few other things
I love this sudden narrative that Housing is “taking dev time away from more important stuff”, because it’s impossible for them to have hired a crew specifically to do housing, oh no, every dev now doing housing stuff was yanked from the [aspect of WoW you like most] team, and now [aspect of WoW you like most] is going right down the crapper.
…or maybe people think they dont have enough devs to do the job properly anymore anyway ? regardless of hiring more to do housing.
if you buy another car became yours is broken down you still have the broken one to deal with regardless of how much time you spend grinning at the shiny new one.
