Am i the only one who disliked bfa from the beggining because of the theme of the expansion?

this is not a complaint thread, im just legitimately curious about it…hating bfa is a general hatred, but that goes toward to other things and not theme, which is why im curious about that

Seems like a complaint thread
BFA is fine but each of the 3 Alliance zones stories sucked. Jaina was fine and the War quests were fine. But pirates (ha, butt pirates), sea wizards, and witches are all lame.

you mean the ‘yet another faction war where the horde does serious damage to the alliance in the story but the alliance “wins” a pyrrhic victory by not crumbling before the horde does?’
yes, BfA officially made me not care about wow lore any more.

i mean, what i feel about bfa is like mop is for most people (ugh pandas, peace and blablabla) and for me bfa is like (ugh, another useless boring faction war that i dont care about after saving the universe)

I like BFA. not jumping with excitement but not bad…the second raid tier was amazing and the current tier is pretty fun too imo.

I’ve liked the Alliance side of the xpac quite a bit… a lot in it is good. I mean we finally got Kul Tiras, the zone that was always on the map and mentioned everywhere but mysteriously absent!

The Horde part though? Eh… Zandalari are cool I guess but they never clicked with me. No desire to quest through their stuff at all.

i think thats a matter of taste… lot of spells back then, good pvp, and i enjoyed the expansion from beggining to throne of thunder…after that i got bored with the garrosh and isle of time fiasco

what is supposed to be anyway its a faction war…some things got messed up in the middle of it like azshara and nzoth

I didnt care for the BFA story. I do however like Azerite gear and essences as some one who hates having alts because I just think alts are boring.

I would have liked the theme of BfA, with the faction conflict rivarly, if Blizzard would have given us what was advertised.

The faction war story and theme was so out of nowhere it was weird, but it takes more than bad storytelling to keep me from enjoying an expac.

I like the Cthulhu mythos so I don’t have a problem with the theme. Some of the story choices were questionable at best, though.

I just don’t like the layers upon layers of RNG in the gearing.

Same here, but Horde side, I’m sick of “ZANDALAR FOREVER” yes we get it, you are a Black Panther ripoff. The Zandalari don’t even like us, but they are in the Horde, the blood trolls are just gross, and the Snake people story is so cliche they are completely forgettable. King Rastakhan is the dumbest Legendary King ever and his Loa got killed because he charged someone who called him a poo poo head. Like… I’m teaming up with these idiots?

BFA has been a good xpac. Lots to see and do.

In saying that there is lots of stuff I’d change to make playing the game more enjoyable than it is.
