Even here on the forums, most of yall are just talking about unholy. I am a hardcore frost main. Frost has been my favorite since i tried it in wrath. Back then I was dw frost tanking. Through to mop i ran frost for pvp. It was a blast. At the end of mop i felt i had no choice but to go unholy for rbgs and i wasnt a fan. That was the end of my first wow era. I just came back. And my god.
All three specs are the same. You have a disease apply skill. A 2 rune debuff damage skill, a single rune damage skill, death strike, and a rp dump. Freaking guild wars has more skills on their characters. We used to have to balance death runes to spam necros on a target on pvp. We had to balance what spell we used when. Did we need that unholy rune we just used for our burst to shield the next burst coming at us? It took thought and people claimed we could just face roll and be good. I loved it.
To be fair, the specs were the same back in Wrath with very minor differences.
You applied diseases through 2 abilities (which you needed), you spread your diseases with pestilence, you had a main 2 rune spender, main 1 rune spender and an RP dump. The rotations devolved into hitting like around 4 buttons at most. GW2 has more buttons to press in a dps rotation than all of wow pretty much when it comes to dk. You have 10 just from your weapon skills, 20 if you are an elementalist from the 4 different elements.
Haha are you kidding me??? If you click on the majority of posts on the death knight category it is almost always the same thing: People whining and complaining about frost in one way or another.
Hate to sound heartless but your nothing new. Frost is complained about the most of all three specs and it’s the type of complaint is about pvp and mythic.
We’ve all added our voices to FDK. We ALL care. Blizzard doesn’t. There was thread upon thread during Season 1 but since there’s not much changes going on other than the S2 tier set rework and tuning updates, the spec’s core problems are still there. At the very least the spec is viable for m+ now.
