Really starting to dislike anduin? He’s just so preachy and naive. Can we just overthrow him already? No more wrynns on the throne. let another race lead (preferably a night elf hehe)… but honestly anything will do. Just not him…

I’d love to see Humans in general have a splinter group of Human Supremacist, evil Humans, who oppose working with the other Alliance races.
Doubly they hate The Horde even more.

Even on my ally character, whenever he talks i just have to roll my eyes. So preachy in game and too goody, if someone else was in charge of the alliance that would be nice

Well I believe Turalyon is assuming leadership of The Alliance in Shadowlands, much to the disagreement of Mathias who thinks Genn should lead. Doesn’t trust Turaylon.

I loved Varian but strongly dislike Anduin. NE isn’t my favorite race but I would be okay with one of them taking his place, just not Tyrande or Malfurion. I think Shandris or Maiev could do some badas* stuff!

Well… Humans were racists at one point or another in wow history… so not an unbelievable possibility.
Exactly… he had the audacity to stand in front of tyrande and “declare” the war over? like he had any right at all to make that decision. The night elves lost everything, what did he lose?
not to mention (no offense), but he trusts you guys way too easily. He’s really starting to show how unfit he is to lead. as good a person as he might be… he fails to realize that sometimes when you’re responsible for so many other people… you need to know how to do business.

High King was a mistake narrative wise. Blizzard only did it so Alliance had a comparable leader to the Hordes Warchief.
Before Varian in Cataclysm, The Alliance was just that. An Alliance. High Elves had their own king, Dwarves and Gnomes had their own king.
All the Alliance nations maintained individual autonomy while contributing military might to the overall Alliance when needed. Now it just seems like whoever leads stormwind leads everyone? Kinda weird.

I don’t play alliance, but I’d like to see a dwarf leader. I think they could really add some flavour to the alliance, because for the longest time it’s been a bit rampant with meh characters, or horribly over acted ones.

It would help if they expanded on and gave more detail to the population and military strengths of all the races.
If Humans still have the most bodies and largest military then it’s understandable they lead, typically in an Alliance the strongest nation commands the armies.
But that’s just guessing because we don’t really know. Blizzard doesn’t go that much into detail.
I liked him for 1 minute.
When he was mad in the the throne room for the wrathion scene.
Then…he went back to has to be nice anduin. Too nice anduin…

Tyrande and Jania will become annoying in Shadowlands. I’m afraid I said too much.
I hate Anduin. He is way too perfect and nice and everyone likes him for no reason at all. It doesn’t even make sense why he is High King (which was a mistake) and it was never explained why he holds this position.
Even Baine send him one part of one of his horns! It’s so silly I couldn’t make this stuff up myself.

Both Varian and Anduin were terrible leaders imo. Varian died to a few low level demons that we then later slaughtered during WQ, and Anduin is well… just Anduin. I would much rather see a council lead the Alliance, similar to how the dwarves handle it, just have one of each race represent themselves in SW keep.
