Okay, so this is just my thoughts on the current state of WoW. I started the game in the middle of Burning Crusade. And throughout my over 10 years playing the game I have to honestly say ive been having a good time. Throughout that entire time, there has never been a single time where I’ve wanted to stop playing. Sure, there were times where content wasn’t great like WoD, but it was genuinely never at the point where i didnt find the game enjoyable. And after WoD, Legion hit and it was in my opinion an expansion at the same caliber as Wrath was. And when i heard about BfA, I was genuinely excited. And to be honest, I still am. I’m still enjoying BfA greatly. I love the storytelling, I love the zones. I really like the war campaign. Am i crazy about Islands? Nah theyre kind of just there for me, and i typically ignore them. But I don’t think theyre terrible. Am I crazy about Warfronts? When a new one comes out, yeah. But after the first few times I kind of ignore them too, but I definitely like them. And what about Azerite Armor? I mean tbh i ignore it more than anything and being honest, it doesn’t noticeably effect my gameplay. I ignore it, and don’t care about it. And with all these posts and videos about quitting wow im just really confused. You played through Draenor, and THIS is what made you quit? Like BfA doesnt suck. Its probably like the 4th best expac. Its not as good as Wrath or Legion, sure, but it’s better than Cata. Its Better than BC. Its a whole HECK of a lot better than WoD, where our only content for a few months was a store mount. If I was going to equate BfA to another expac, it’d probably be Mists. Everyone is outraged now, but you’re going to look back on it a few years later and realize it was actually pretty great. And I think BfA probably is actually better than Mists as well. I think if you’re outraged enough to leave now, youre probably taking minor parts of the game, and numbers way too seriously. Everyone’s gonna have an opinion about BFA. Some hate it for legitimate reasons, others love it for legitimate reasons. Live and let live I say.
I like IEs, I liked it even more before the changes, but I still do like 20 runs/week.

Nope not only one been around since middle to end of Wrath and though BFA has its problems as did the over rated Wrath it is still fun to play due to every day is a new adventure in Azeroth.

Is it perfect? No.
But when has a WoW expansion been perfect?
Do I like that a major system that’s pretty much the expansion’s THING is a bit meh? No.
But nothing about the game right now is “Hey, there is LITERALLY nothing to do, and I feel like I’m throwing money away.”
Also I quoted because honestly I don’t know why that post was flagged. Nothing about it is trolling or inappropriate, so hopefully the wrongful use of flags wins out over the tyranny of the majority for a change.

I am finding this expansion fair to middling, with 8.1. Before 8.1, it was flat out unbearable.
It is a far cry from Legion, where the game was enjoyable then content patches made it even more fantastically enjoyable; I even loved Argus, so much to do on my 3 “mains.”
Bfa is like, “I suppose I could bother to log in for the incursion.”
“Hmmm, I like this purple Night Elf armor, but I already got the quest piece 390/and the 340 do I want to bother with ANOTHER warfront, to possibly get the SAME slot pieces? I better not, since that might cause RAGE!”

I’m enjoying myself, mostly cause I always at least have the fallback I’ve been playing for years: PvP.
Doesn’t matter if no new maps are made ever again, I can play the same ones a thousand times over and it never gets old. Fighting against real players is always exciting.
