Why would they not use the beta build that was universally well received and liked by the community with the 3 two-point talents reduced to one-point talents?
I have to spent 3 extra points to make a build that isn’t good while everyone else is having fun.
It kinda kills my motivation to even log in lmao.
Lol, I feel your pain and I actually haven’t logged since pre-patch went live. Extremely disappointed. All the other classes have paragraphs if not, pages of changes and updates. I look at enhancement and just feel disgusted. They did some fixes again last night, but again nothing with enhancement shamans. But I learned to accept it. I just sigh and stay logged off. It is what it is. What can you do? Do I feel better after posting this? Yes I do lol.
Pretty disappointing to announce a class rework, then wait until the end of beta to even begin working on it and then FINALLY fix the enhance talents. Then give us an old build that is bugged with only one charge of elemental blast.

Look at the Mythic+ ranking for prepatch so far. Enhancement has been murdered. Dead last with a huge gap.

I hit the target dummies on Frost DK and was able to sustain 1.15M on the 5 target cleave. Unbuffed - no lust no runes to pot no nothing.
My shaman? Still vibing at 600k. With the flattest profile ever.

Yeah I guess not until they fix elemental blast. I was able to make my spec work with the talents I got but the lack of 2 blasts sucks. I tried the windfury build and was only above tanks.
I tired ele build with broken elemental blast and ended up on the 7th spot so if I had it I should be fine.
I guess I’m just farming transmogs and doings quests until it’s fixed.
I’m happy with mostly everything else, getting used to feral lunge after not using it for years.
What’s your gear like? I was also sustaining 600k but i only have 498 pve ilvl. That was with standard pvp trinkets as well.
About 510 I think? Ergo should theoretically be 12% more than you, but looks like we match. I guess I should get better data, I normally hit dummies once a week or so but that number I quoted for sham was from before patch.
Love my sham but he’s been kinda shelved since S3.
Well that’s silly considering this is a post patch conversation. Find the right build, and go whack a dummy.
I’m not defending enhancements place at all just to be clear. However, comparing it to frost currently which is broken apparently, to pre patch enhancement is silly.

I had insomnia. So I got data.
Comparing apples to apples with the same build I was using prior to the patch, I did 800k dps reliably on the 5 target dummies. I’m at 513 ilevel. So at 526 I can expect closer to 910 assuming 1% per ilevel.
Again, no flask, no pots, no lust. However - I do have Windfury and Flametongue on, as well as the new Skyfury buff.
My build is this hybridized Splintered/Thorim’s thing, which I reached incrementally via simcraft prior to the patch:

There are reasons why it matters. I still had some final things I needed to clear up, like finishing all heroic bosses on the Awakened raids (my schedule doesn’t allow scheduled raid time too much). So there are still things I wanted to accomplish while they were available.
I ended up just switching to Elemental, learning it on the fly as best as I could, and ended up WAY outperforming my Enhancement gameplay prepatch.
It does seem rather confusing why Blizzard gave us the bugged build of Enhancement for the pre-patch…I do understand that they are adjusting the build on Beta still, the latest changes show that, but to go with the bugged build is a head-scratcher.
I have achieved most things so I am not really worried about doing pre-patch things. But I would have wished Blizzard at least gave Enhancement its pre-patch DF version instead.
Elemental is a little insane right now.

You’re doing something wrong then, I do guarsnteed 850-1.2 m fix in stacked 5 target aoe cleave and my equips aren’t even enhanc focused
