Am I missing something?

So I’ve been really enjoying Dragonflight the last few weeks, but I’ve kinda ran out of stuff to do. Once I hit 70, I was really hyped for the massive amount of content that was available. I spent the last 3 weeks grinding out all the side quests for Loremaster, playing with professions, and basically loving the absolute abundance gear available through a variety of content. I was actually able to binge WoW as much as I wanted, and was really getting into it again. Then I hit a progression wall.

I seem to be gated on reps to a few weekly world quests. Am I missing something? Is there no way to just grind rep without timegating?

World Quests don’t seem to repopulate. Are world quests on a weekly cycle as opposed to every few hours?

Like I want to binge WoW like I used to, but it seems by a day or two after reset I spend most of my time herbing as I can’t find much in the way of world content to do. Unfortently with my evert changing work schedule, organized raiding just isnt possible. Am I missing something or is the endgame basically just raid lockouts and filling the vault?

Bi weekly. They refresh Tuesday morning and Friday night.

I think they intended professions to be the new “grind”.

I still haven’t even come close to maxing anything out, so in between running keys and raiding I feel like I’m just working on that.

If that’s the case I’m totally into it. The professions are exponentially better than they used to be. But progress on professions seems to also be weekly gated. I seem to be limited to only 6-7 stat point progression per week.

That’s about 99% of my weekly WoW activities.

There’s more than that, but you have to search around for them.

Look for the purple chests in the world if you have a crafting profession, and keep gathering if you have those, because those drop skill points when you go after modes that may give you points.

I’m still not maxed out on mining and occasionally the orange nodes give skill point tokens.

I miss and don’t miss those days. Back before a career and responsibilities. With my schedule varied from week to week it’s impossible for me to ever commit to organized group content. I manage to fill out my vault with +10 through LFG but it seems rough to push higher with an irregular group currently

It’s Monday night and I was racing to pick herbs so I could get my weekly cap on herbalism knowledge.

What do you mean? You can do m+ ALL DAY EVERY DAY.
It’s FUN. Don’t you like FUN??

I love M+ but once I hit valor cap, alot of the incentive is lost. I have most of my base pieces so it’s really just about grinding out the upgrades. Almost all of my drops come from 2 Dungeons and I can only do those 8-10 times before I get bored lol

I really don’t understand the reasoning behind the valor cap. If someone wants to grind valor to their hearts content, isn’t that good for Blizz numbers?

You can also try to go outside sometime.
