Am I missing something in Bastion?

Bc by the time I was done with the storyline, there was still half of the zone that was unexplored, along with places that Looked as if they should have been important parts of the questing experience.

I did all the side quests, and then had areas left over unexplored. Went to explore some, and saw level 60 mobs. So I assume it’s end game content that will fill up the currently unexplored areas. Just move on to Maldraxxes for now, it’s a much cooler zone anyways.

The story line only gives you a preview of each area. To unlock the ‘full experience’ you have to choose a covenant/what story you want more of at the end.
You can totally experience all 4 stories on one character later if you choose.
You keep all renown/rewards after you swap but keep in mind you lose access to the cosmetic stuff, skill tree etc for the covenant you left till you swap back.

And they are level 60 areas. You really don’t want to poke your nose in there yet. I hurts. A lot.

This!!

I was chasing down a battle pet I marked on the map (saw that green paw while doing a quest) it was something I hadn’t come across yet in my bastion travels.

A fox npc jumped me, didn’t pay attention, sent my cat in to attack. Next thing I know, kitty is dead. I’m confused. I look, level 60 vulpine and I’m 1/2 health. Those hit like a mack truck.

Don’t recommend!! (I was level 53)

Can confirm. Much pain was endured.

Hey btw, do you remember where the location for the quests are to complete the “Wings of Freedom” and “Spear of Kalliope” questlines are? they’re the optional ones. cant seem to find them.

Yeah that’s exactly what I thought to lol I was like wth why is there so much unexplored stuff? Went to check it out yup lvl 60 max lvl stuff.

Sorry I don’t know the quests by name yet, I kinda rushed through them. But if it’s the ones that I’m thinking about they might be by Hero’s Rest. Think West of there IIRC

I ran into one of those foxes just getting the question mark on the map. Just goes to show, you can’t trust foxes.
