Hi all,
Posted in here a bit ago, and I’m here to collect a bit more data. Am I going to regret maining an RSham if I’m coming back for M+ and raiding? I currently have no guild.
I’m afraid people will see my as a low tier healer and I would be capping my potential in game if I go all in on RSham as my character (no time or caring for alts).
Please don’t maim any RShamans.

Edited, because Blizz does a good enough job on their own with that (FML with walking and typing)
Haha I know how it is. Looking at possibly playing Resto shaman myself. I prefer to play range based heals and so the utility looks nice.
Also, I’ve been leveling both my RSham and my MW bc each xpac I’ve come back I’ve thought MW would be a cool new healer (have zero interest in the others and have tried them all), and my mouth just waters at the visuals and fantasy, and my brain just clicks with RSham—always has.
I think I’m starting to figure out the fuatweaver play style and am dying less to being melee as a healer, but I still don’t get the je ne said quois with MW as I do with RSham. I want to say yes to the mail-played dress, but I just know competitively I might be gimping my life in WoW if I do, and I can’t shake that feeling.

Right now. Rsham is in a very good spot for raiding and completely fine for +20s in m+.
Healers are generally always wanted in nearly all forms of pve content, and there usually isn’t a preference that impacts gameplay until the very high end.

I’d say play what you enjoy most. Patches come and go so class changes always happen. I’d rather take an experienced Resto Shaman than someone who goes “Hey guys! I just boosted last week”
