I wanted to turn my brain off and queue a few games of Tarren Mill vs. Southshore brawl this weekend. First queue was ~1.5 without popping last night, so I decided to log off. Today, I reached a whopping 4.5 hours in queue.
Has anyone got in? Am I bugged out from this queue somehow if so? Or is just no one playing this anymore? It’s Saturday night as I type this in a third attempt queue and already at 40 min.

I think you are confused. I don’t believe this feature exists in the 10-19 bracket of Classic.
Most people generally aren’t interested enough to play it. Those who are willing to queue are like you - they just want to turn their brain off and have a bit of mindless fun - or they really want the conquest for some reason. Otherwise, see first sentence.
I got in one yesterday, but was in queue at the same time for BGB and a reg BG and those poped first. The TM was great fun. If it is a super long queue it would likely just be a healer shortage. BGB are really popular right now.
Oh sorry, responding from my classic character. But yes, I’m queueing on a 70 BE Mage in retail. I’ve done the intro to get to the Dragon Isles and get dragonflying, but I haven’t done the quest to get Valdrakken open to me (no Org portal, and the weekly dragon in the courtyard gives me no quest). This is all I can think of that’s barring me.
I can queue for normal and epic BGs just fine, though.
Nah, you aren’t bugged. Just a trash game mode. Nobody wants to join only to get sniped from the opposite team’s back row over and over again then lose. Total waste of time.
Why would melee want to play a graveyard simulator?
Not really, because it’s like epic battlegrounds where they don’t balance the healer role.
I find with brawls in general, people just aren’t interested for some reason.

Did a TM brawl today, queue was 40min(only thing I queued for). Top 5 dps at the end were all Firemage. One did 260million damage, most mages did over 150 million damage. Highest hunter did 80million, I did 64million with my single target setup. Lost by 2 kills.

Oh I believe it. Epic battleground mages that spec fire are doing so for a reason, lol.
Anecdotal, but at least from the chatter in my own guild, many people are farming their last chance for Plunderstorm rewards.
Add to that the season ending in 3 days, many are either pushing rating, or just done till the new season starts PVP wise.
