people say fury warrior is the easiest class but i do worse damage on my warr than i do with my warlock, with this lock at 395 i do around 50k dmg, but with the warrior at 380ish i do 30k, am i doing something wrong or is the single target not very good with that class/spec? im playing fury btw
There’s an obvious iLvl difference, does your warrior have 4 set bonus/ideal stats as well?
Also hows your AoE? I love my Fury warrior, he does decent single target but he really shines in AoE damage.
Post on your warrior?
my bad, and no i dont have 4 set bonus, i do good aoe dmg but poor ST, is it normal?
The fact a 386 Fury Warrior in token gear Sims as high as my 410 Outlaw Rogue just crushes my soul…
But I digress.
It could boil down to your rotation and the talents you’ve Chosen. Since there’s no real logs to speak of, it’s hard to help.
i was following the wowhead rotation, but maybe im not fast enough, i heard the class requires high apm
How many Rampages are you getting, just out of curiosity? The Sim that I ran clocked your build at a little over 100.
Little secret: the game is funner when you aren’t obssessing about dps. I mean unless the bosses aren’t dying before the enrage timer.
its literally a 1 button class…
Yea, but it’s also fun to know that you’re improving over time.
not even near that, im a slowpoke due to meds, like i get some gas a the beginning but i eventually slow down, im new to fury as a whole aswell how many rampages should i get in 1 min for example?
If only people stopped there.
It’s becoming an obsession for many… Sometimes a metric of one’s ego. Those are the most eye rolling inducing ones of all
Oh that comes after I figure out mechanics. After that I start to obsess a little. But then again, I only do LFR every once in a blue moon these days.
But yeah, I just checked his armory profile. Yeah, for normal mode yes, dps can be important.
In the Sim, 35.
I mean, learning that a 386 Fury Warrior in BoA Token gear can do as much DPS as my 410 Outlaw Rogue kind of puts a damper on my spirit.
I admit, I turned my damage meter off years ago.
If you use Discord the best thing you could do is join Skyhold, the warrior discord and ask question in the #fury channel.

The rotation is pretty straightfoward and generally works out to be raging blow > rampage > raging blow > rampage for the majority of casts, weaving whirlwind when needed.
I see you have taken spear of bastion - this talent, while powerful, needs mobs to be grouped in a small area, hit everything and allow you to stand inside the spear to gain 25% crit damage. Another option you could use (i play this) is thunderous roar as it doesnt have a target cap, causes a significant amount of aoe damage and will be further buffed by the talent choiced you take when using t30 tier.
As to fury’s damage profile, its consistent damage in both single target and cleave, but its never great outside of cooldowns. It really is one of the easiest specs to play but does have a very high apm.
