So, I am currently ilvl 320+, and have done the Darkshore scenario, and can go into the that warfront, infact I just ran it. But I can’t go into the World Content of Arathi. When I fly there, Zidormi doesn’t let me switch phases, I can’t find elites, and when I group with ppl that can, it phases them out from me. When I click on the Warfronts table, it says “A portal nearby has been opened already”, and talking to the Portal Master just says Darkshore is too dangerous. Did I miss a prerequisite somewhere?

When scenario is active you can’t go to Darkshore and do the WQs. Just wait for next cycle.

I understand that, but what I’m asking about, is why can’t I do the WQ content and what not in Arathi? Like Darkshore things work fine for me, just not anything involving the content in Arathi.

Honey that is what I am saying. When you see a portal up near the table that allows you to queue for any of those scenarios, it means you can go to that zone and do the quests there and such. When they portal is not up, even if you go there you can’t do quests. So just wait for next cycle.

The portals are up when you CAN’T queue and your faction isn’t preparing for the attack scenario.
If the portal isn’t up, you can’t do any WQs, but you can still do the elites. You just have to get there on your own, no portal (and you’ll be flagged PvP).
Darkshore and Arathi are separate - you might have both portals open, or you might be able to queue for either scenario, or both might be in “gathering” mode.
If the portal to Arathi is showing for you, you should be able to see the correct phase (and Zidormi should be available to switch back and forth). If the portal isn’t showing, you might have to wait until your faction is “patrolling”, and then you might have to do a quest to make the zone active and get the portal.
I’ve never seen that error message, that a portal nearby has already been opened, and I don’t understand why it would be “too dangerous” for Darkshore if you’ve already done the Darkshore scenario.

Arathi IS up for us, that is what he is saying.
We have WQ’s there.
There IS a portal to Arathi there.
When the Alliance looks at Arathi, right now, we have World Quests there. It is our Patrol time. He is saying that is not working for him.

Currently horde owns darkshore, which means I cant do the quest for the scenario, in a day or two, I can do the quest, and will not own elites / darkshore content.
Then missing introductory quests perhaps. Look into that.
Thank you, to all who applied, Kypookins is correct, Arathi was in Patrol for the Alliance, at least on my server at the time of this post.
Like, friends of mine could see the Arathi portal, and go there for WQs. However, I could not see the portal. Talking with the Warfront guy only said that the Arathi portal was opened near by, even though I couldn’t see it, and when I flew there myself, the bronze dragon wouldn’t let me switch phases or anything.
Now that Darkshore is in Patrol mode for us, I can see the Darkshore portal, and go there to do WQs and kill elites.
I believe the reason I had an issue with Arathi, is because I had just gotten to that ilvl when Darkshore was active, and since I hadn’t done the warfront at all, I couldn’t access the zone updates for it, perhaps?
I’ll update this again when Arathi opens for the Alliance and I find out more.
Do you have world quests unlocked? I had a similar issue where I could go into warfronts but the BFA Arathi wasn’t showing up for me. I did some digging and found that the new version of arathi only shows up after you unlock world quests. So I went on ahead and did the war campaign in Zandalar and got the main three kul’tiras reps to friendly and the 7th legion guy unlocked world quests. The portal then showed up and I could go into BFA Arathi.

The warfronts cycle between the WQs, and running the instanced ‘siege’.
The Alliance is currently getting supplies for the ‘siege’ phase of Arathi. You have the Darkshore WQ phase active right now.
The horde has the Arathi WQ zone, and is currently sieging Darkshore for the instance.

Ok, so I can participate in the Arathi fight sequence, so that part is going.
But I think Mariancelina, is right. I haven’t unlocked World Quests yet, T.T
