Always show Staff weapon

I don’t know if I turned this feature off or if this is how it always was but I just noticed the only time I see my staff on my resto druid is when I unsheathe it and she’s holding it in her hand…when I start casting or when I stow it on my back it just disappears

is there a way to always see it or does blizzard just auto hide it all the time unless you physically take it out

Generally, when weapons sheathed on the back aren’t showing up, its because of a specific item transmogged in the back slot.
