I was gone for a few years and just came back to BfA. I hit 120 on my Death Knight in two days and wanted to level up my Mage next because I absolutely loved Aluneth.
Why isn’t he being sassy anymore? Is it a bug? Is it just my Aluneth? (Does he hate me?)
Yes, I did look up other posts on the forum for it. Nothing is coming up that’s actually useful to me. Everything is from last year and about “possible” things to come for Shadowlands and stuff that should’ve already happened in this expansion. Sooo… Help?
Mine still talks. Even when its transmogged. I’m not sure why yours wouldnt.
Have you tried letting Aluneth drain a source of power from the Broken Isles open world? I think he always says something at the end of the channel.
He was also pretty talkative recently while I was running around various Legion raids. The comments made the transmog runs more enjoyable.
Outside of Legion content there just aren’t as many prompts. I think my most common one is his grumbling about me creating tasty treats.

How do I let him drain energy? I’ve been away for a while and I honestly don’t remember how to do that. xD
You just have to move near a source of power that he is interested in draining. There are a few listed locations at this link.

I have it transmogged on my mage and the staff mentioned me being OOM during my burn phase on Ra-Den today.
