Aluneth has another hidden appearance?

Have anybody else noticed there is another appearance for Aluneth in the Hall of the Guardian stand for the hidden appearance?

I just noticed yesterday messing around my class hall and i didn’t recognize that being there before.

It was getting me kinda crazy so i went and search for it and i couldn’t find any information about it. The things is that it even has model images and a link in Wowhead, but when you go the the artifact page it isn’t there.

probably the mage tower appearance that they removed in 8.0

the hidden appearance is the sheeps head

or do you mean on the stand its a staff and it has the kirin tor symbol? yeah i never noticed it before

Exactly that one. I just noticed it yesterday taking the place of the woolomancer.

I just logged on my mage and took out his sheepshead aluneth from his bank, to see what for.

I dont even see anything different. So I guess I never noticed it.

All artifact weapons had a mage tower appearance that got removed after Legion ended.

Really? i haven’t see any other “new” appearance for other classes, so weird :S

IDK where that came from or how long it’s been there, but it’s sitting where the sheep one should be. So maybe it’s just an unused asset showing up there for whatever reason.

So does that show up for new Mages or mages that cant get the Wooloomancer version anymore?

My mage has that skin and doesnt see this new staff at all.

This is something that happens from time to time. Some bug somewhere and next thing you know you’re seeing something very wrong.

I’ve had this toon for years and did the hidden appearance quest back in legion, but now it shows that other staff

heres an old reddit thread and the best explanation i see for it by a player is eyelash curler

so its probably a joke by blizzard

Gurgthock, you are a genius. Although it seems nobody really knows why it’s there, lol.

Worst thing though is that it looks better than the Woolomancer in my opinion Dx

The sheep staff was great. But I wasn’t a fan of Blizzard making sure that the artifact weapons were so grandiose. Though I know they were suppose to be these nation shaking magical items.
