Despite the claims of doing warbound reputations to prevent alts from having an advantage.
Despite removing the 20 year old human racial to make rep gains an even playing field.
The absolute best and most feasible way to farm cartel rep in undermine is to use your alts, do chett lists, turn in the list for 500 rep, rinse and repeat.
I think the only trick to this is that you have to be lv80 to go to Undermine?
So congrats to all of us that pushed alts early. I’ll be the first in my guild by a LONG, LONG run for the first to have all the cartels at Exalted.
Not that it even matters. You get a new paint color for your car, a pet/mount (?). There’s no real power attached to it. No Heroic token, not a catalyst charge. There’s really no reason to bother pushing alts with chett lists anyway.
It just helps me focus on all my other goals knowing that one is off the table.
Better to spend a few minutes continuing to do the 3x weeklies well into 11.2 than grind a gd thing. Can barely bother completing a single chett list, let alone dozens.
So… playing the game more gives more progress… correct me if I am wrong, there is no power associated with cartel rep?
In which case who cares? World content is made for altaholics IMO. Go raid or M+ if you only want one character or do a balance of content if you are a one-character high-gameplay hours player.
Or just keep playing like you normally would and likely spend fewer hours overall but perhaps it takes another week or two to finish. Though if you absolutely need that new horn blast sound RIGHT NOW…your way might work.
But really, a lot of it relates to the fact that when reps are new, grinds tend to be easy, everyone is doing them, you can knock a rep out in (sic) one month instead of six if you do it later.
Like you see all these farm groups for Darkfuse rep. There’s probably 5-6 groups up at any given time, any given day.
How long do you think that’s going to last? Eventually it’ll just be one a day during prime time. Then… just a random… “sometimes.”
I haven’t started/am not worrying about Darkfuse just yet, but it should be on your radar to get done sooner than later. bc it’s SUPER easy now. It won’t be in 3-5 weeks.
My position is that I’m going to do my normal amount of weekly activities (delves, some M+, weeklies and such), then whatever rep rewards i have attained when the next patch hits, that’ll be it. I’ll write off the missing items and move on
The key to not letting annoying design choices annoy you is to just care less, WoW is a buffet, just pick at the stuff you like and ignore the rest, it really isn’t that important.
I want the Everlasting Noggenfoger toy so I can transform into a skeleton or become smaller. The toy has an indefinite number of charges. 50s charge per use.
