Hi everyone, I’m looking for a replacement for this addon. When I install it I get a garrison LUA error and I cannot get the addon to work. It also looks like there was some drama with the creator and other issues, so I want to shy away from this and find a replacement.

Try /reload, that fixes most issues lately with add-ons behaving bad.
I did, it doesn’t remove the garrison LUA error. Honestly, there are so many issues with the new UI, it makes me want to quit.

What does that do? How does that impact the addon? Will I get future errors?
It just disables lua error popups.
Swap the 0 with a 1 to enable them again.
i just deleted the garrison component of the addon and it’s fine now. i wasn’t using it anyway.
I don’t play retail but I have Altoholic on classic. I ran into a problem kind of like yours and discovered I was using the wrong version of the addon. Even with the right version, I tend to go into Game Menu/Addons and uncheck the things I don’t want or which throw errors. As long as they aren’t critical dependencies, this method works. I figure the author will fix things eventually but I have most if not all of what I use so I’m gtg.
