I greatly appreciate the recent changes Blizzard made to improve the game without needing addons like with the UI and bags in Dragonflight. Can we get some official support similar to what altoholic does too? Just the ability to search for a material that other characters have in their inventory/bank would be a huge improvement to have in the base game officially IMO.
There are some other addons I have that make things in the game easier that I’m not mentioning just because, although they are very convenient, they don’t seem as crucial. If a new update comes out, I’m not worried about those addons not working for a couple days or weeks. Searching for materials through many characters seems to be something that would be best to have in the game itself, does anyone else agree?

I dont like what they did to the ui or bags. My bags are all tiny now and my ui feels messed up. I dont want all my action bars slapped dead in the center. The original ui was set up exactly how i wanted it.

Aren’t you able to use a more traditional preset. They have modern and classic presets to choose from. And now that it is completely customizable, wouldn’t you be able to change anything you don’t like about it? I don’t see how the freedom to make it your own would be a negative change.
Going through the settings didnt allow me to do much of anything. Only thing i was allowed to move was the player portrait and target portrait. Everything else was locked no matter how much i clicked on something.
Pst, you can move them and put them how they used to be.

Any idea how? This new set up is extremely confusing 
So when you click “edit mode” you can move the action bars. Click on an action bar to get more options, you can edit how many spaces each has, which direction they are, move them around on the screen.
And if you want to add or remove action bars, it’s under “options”.
I made my layout basically the old layout that’s close enough I am happy with it (I used default UI since 2009 so at first I hated it until I spent a day just adjusting and learning how to set it up)
Then every new character I login to I just go edit mode → select “my layout” and have them all look the same
