Alternative for night elf and forsaken fans

It is cause it came with the voljin stuff I mean lol even red shirt guy was talking about it on his twitter

I mean yeah, I get that, but I still see a contradiction between “I could have saved them” ( and went to some effort to do so ) and “You are all nothing.” And my question was whether the events in Stormheim led to that change of heart.

I dont think so, the books make it clear that sylvanas is lying to everyone

Including herself. Well. Guess we can just write that off as bad writing then.

She not lying to herself, cause the plan changed when mueh broke the shadowlands

I mean, that would make sense. Genn dooms her people and the Azerite visions give her a new idea.

OTOH, Blizz has said her plans for what happened go all the way back to Edge of Night (which they have retconned.) Why deliberate invalidate canon for no good reason? No idea?

It was never about her people

They had said a few times in interviews that we will learn more about Sylvanas’ deal with Helya in Shadowlands, though we haven’t seen any datamining on that yet.

Another old meme…

Kerrigan did at least acknowledge and express regret over the blood on her hands, and showed some bits of mercy towards the end of the zerg campaign - such as pulling her forces after killing Warfield and allowing the remnants of his forces to evacuate, and doing her darndest not to harm the civilians of Korhal.

When has Sylvanas ever done anything like that?

Just because it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean it can’t. Not saying it will, just that Blizzard will do what they want.

It makes you glow in the dark and some of us don’t like night lights.

In reference to the whole "Genn knew Sylvanas was there for Val’kyr power;

Sky Admiral Rogers says: Our official orders are to escort you to Stormheim and ensure your success on this trial.

Sky Admiral Rogers says: Unofficially, however, we have another mission…

Sky Admiral Rogers says: The 7th Legion. The toughest men and women the Alliance have to offer. They, too, have come on direct orders from the king.

Sky Admiral Rogers says: Three days ago, the Forsaken fleet set sail from Durotar, heading straight for the Broken Isles. We think Sylvanas Windrunner herself may be among them.

Sky Admiral Rogers says: We are to track them from a safe distance. We may engage, but only if the situation demands.

Sky Admiral Rogers says: I strongly suspect the situation will demand it.

Genn Greymane says: It had better.

Genn Greymane says: I am not in the habit of tracking prey unless I intend on killing it.

“We may not know why Sylvanas’ forces are here, but I think we know where they are.”

“It’s obvious at this point that the Horde wants something in Skold-Ashi. Unfortunately we still don’t know what they’re after.”

“Go into the city and find as many of these shields as you can. With luck, we will find what Sylvanas seeks.”

Genn readily admits he has no idea why Sylvanas is there or what she wants, but attacks the first chance he gets, before the Forsaken have even reached the shore.

Also, in reference to the Kerrigan debate peppered through here intermittently, did anyone aside from Raynor actually forgive Kerrigan? I can get why people would get the impression given that many people were open to working with her while fighting Amon in the void, but they were in the mouth of hell, fighting a literal god who had been manipulating their entire history. Kerrigan and the Swarm at the very least could be seen as an invaluable meat shield protect the less replaceable Protoss and Terran forces.

I don’t think anyone aside from Raynor forgave her for anything, they just fought alongside her against Amon.

I think you are correct from an in-game perspective. But it was obvious Blizzard wanted to say Kerrigan is good now.

That’s literally how the Silverpine campaign ends. You can play through it right now:

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Look at them, . They scurry like rats, veering headlong to their doom. Surely Crowley and Bloodfang can see the futility in this!

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: To the Greymane Wall! We will force their hand.

The party arrives at the Greymane Wall.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner yells: Crowley, your forces have fallen before my mighty army. You have lost!

[Lord Darius Crowley]along with [Packleader Ivar Bloodfang] arrives at the scene.

Lord Darius Crowley says: It’s not over, Sylvanas. Not yet.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: You frivolously throw away the lives of your people while your own king sits atop his throne of lies, nary lifting a finger to help.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Is Gilneas worth the lives that have been lost? The lives that will be lost? You cannot win.

Lord Darius Crowley says: We will die trying!

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: And your daughter? You could have saved her… You could have offered her your blood, yet you did not. Why?

Lord Darius Crowley says: LORNA? What… Where is she!? What have you done to her!?

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Nothing, yet…

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: I now present you with a choice - a choice that I was never given.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: I offer you the life of Lorna for your unconditional surrender.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Choose your next words wisely, Crowley.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner yells: Bring her, Godfrey!

[Lord Godfrey] arrives at the scene, clutching the body of Lorna Crowley, along with [Lord Walden]and [Baron Ashbury]

Lord Darius Crowley says: GODFREY! You deceitful maggot!

Lord Godfrey says: Hello, old friend!

Lord Darius Crowley says: Lorna… I… Release her. I will sound the retreat.

Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: You can’t be serious, Crowley. You miserable bastard!

Packleader Ivar Bloodfang runs back to Gilneas.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Release her, Godfrey.

Lord Godfrey says: Of course, mistress.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Now leave here, Crowley, and never return.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner says: Lordaeron belongs to the Forsaken.

Sylvanas has as much free will as someone that has their soul forever twisted and rewired, and lobotomized to have most of their positive emotions ripped from their being.

Sylvanas has as much free will as an abomination that has had its memory stripped, and soul combined with several other souls, likely children souls since a lot of them like to “play” catch with the heads of the Alliance.

One of my pet peeves and I will jump on this every time I see it, like clockwork. I take Sylvanas and the Forsaken’s free will like a a grain of salt or a giant asterisk.

its not okay to kill people just cause your depress or angry
if hitler said he couldn’t feel happiness it doesnt change his crimes

I hate comparing Hitler and the killing of countless real people to the slaughter of what is likely your favorite pixel people. One is a real life tragic event the other is used to tell a great story for what is likely your favorite pixled people.

If Hitler had his soul ripped from his body, and then had his soul forever twisted by dark magic and resurrected into a ghost and then voluntarily made himself a zombie then I would entertain the comparison.

doesnt matter, you obiviously dont have morals if you think just cause sylvanas had her soul ripped out it makes it ok for her to do that with others
