AV is the biggest disappoint.
Everyone I know came back for classic. Legit 80%+ of the people I play with have unsubbed, and few of the remaining don’t want to continue. It’s completely destroyed the serious PvPers who obviously understand they cant compete for PVP rewards if they don’t PVE in AV or AFK 24/7.
The subs will speak for themselves soon, I’d honestly be surprised if they don’t patch Honor rewards.
I’m sure I’ll get some “yOu DoNt hAvE tO qUe AV” spam but the point remains. This system is trash. AV1.2 is trash. I guess the diehard classic nochanges dads will fight this to the death. And I won’t deny classic leveling and the world is fun but this situation with the endgame just sucks.

Warsong not being anywhere remotely close to a viable way to get honor on top of the fact you can’t even play with a single friend in AV has made classic a very lonely place lately.
Everyone I play with is afraid to not be in AV at all times, there are 11 level 60s on my entire server in Warsong Gulch. Most guilds have more people in AV than that.

I’m enjoying AV, I’m having a great time and half way to exalted. I had a 1 hr 07 game where we summoned all the NPCs and won clutch.
Stop worrying about honor and play the game. If you want your AV games to go better than take a leadership role and lead the group.

that ignores the issue that if you’re looking to push rating, its incredibly inefficient.
The idea that you’re punished for pvping while climbing the pvp leaderboards is a broken system.
pvp - slower honor gain
pve - faster honor gain
I’m not tripping on it personally, but i understand how frustrating this is to players who want to be competitive.

I would say a good chunk of the people who think #nochanges makes sense as a response are actually retail players who openly admit they want Classic to be bad.

I cannot imagine anybody that Blizz should pay less attention to than anyone who talks like this.

Who said obsessing about honor rankings was suppose to be fun? Its a challenge and your choosing to sacrifice enjoyment and flexibility of play-style in the name of efficiency.

No. Players who are #no changes don’t want Classic to turn into Retail 2. No one wants Classic to be bad.

For alliance, it likely will. Horde Queues are already reaching 10-12 Min, if that continues to get worse (its double what we had on Wednesday) then…maybe WSG becomes an option?
I wont lie. I have not bothered to play anything but AV, other than my obligatory few hours of Raids this week. I am now Exalted (Horde) but this has really soured PvP.

The honor cap is just hyper inflated, and wpvp is dead.

We get instant queues as alliance. Use that to your advantage and only queue with pre made 40 man groups

Riiight. Generalising wildly there, grasshopper.
It wasnt though. It was the realm population caps. World PvP was an amazing experience.
And then people who came to do raiding did them and all was well.

World population caps dropped down to 1 layers worth. That’s the population dropping not the layer size growing.
These forums have been blowing up with people claiming wPvP was killing Classic. Guess that’s the thing to do these days. Hyperbole to get people to read the topic.
