Gratz! Now let’s see if Alliance can actually work together in some fashion. I assume this means the discords channels will be useless. I’d be interested to see what they say in there.
I’m actually kinda glad cuz that should mean no large T3/Marshall premades getting a huge advantage over others in the ranking game. At least I think it means that… we’ll see how else someone will decide to game the system.
If everyone were to have calmed down and waited no one would’ve said anything though. It has to start somewhere, then gain enough traction to get Blizzard’s attention.
Yes. It will make the experience more enjoyable. Maybe that will be enough. I know I have more fun playing with my friends even when I lose, than when I win playing alone.
But, it’s not going to be any real change beyond that.
Horde would have to cry for years to match the tears alliance shed during just the few weeks of phase 2. Alliance still cry about phase 2 and it ended months ago.
Sure, what wouldn’t vanish is the months of easy gear, questing, grinding that have been gotten while there were large imbalances. Horde have had a very easy time on many PVP servers.
What happened to no changes? I thought this was supposed to be the original. Yet Blizzard keeps making changes willy nilly. Forget it, I am ready to let my subscription expire for another six years.
It’ll still give tinder to ignite complaints. There’s NO fix for faction imbalance.
But I’d be pressed to say, deterring premades will result in an increase queue.
But if they persist, if they manage to keep it going through the change, then the BG’s they leave will cancel and Horde go back to the queue until they hit a Premade or a pug.
This is step in the right direction. But it won’t be enough. It will help but it wont be enough
1.12 version of av has no place in classic, and almost no private servers ran this version of the BG, 1.5 version needs to be implemented, as well as paired with a flat buff to warsong gulch honor. ie. 1k per bg no matter what and 1.5k honor per flag cap, making it on par and/or better with afk av farming to rank.
a lot of people played classic to experience the pvp and were disappointing greatly with the direction blizzard took bgs.
Believe what you want. Search my post history going back to the beginning of classic. I made many predictions. Most of them came true. I could be wrong this time. But at least my predictions are based on past behavior and evidence.
Will they, though? With alliance players no longer coordinating to fit into premades, and then to get into the “good” premades on top of that, and being reduced to random solo queuing, I would suspect that there’s less downtime on finding 40 alliance players for an AV match due to less time being spent to create premades via discord.
