Thank you for this change. This does wonders to bring an amount of skill back into ranking, even if only a little. This will essentially reform the brackets so total scrubs cannot climb above talented PvPers.

If you are going to bother making changes then can’t you just give people who decline a bg invite the deserter debuff? Removing the numbers if fine for AV, but it won’t do anything to stop premades queue dodging other premades in WSG or AB when it comes out.

Alliance: Complain for a month on the forums to add elite guards to boats = #nochanges

Horde: Complain for a couple of weeks on the forums to break premades = AS YOU PLEASE

Ummm the people doing premades were hurting alliance more than horde. If anything the change caters to alliance.

So, no more large premades. More farming people for honor since the diminishing returns are much slower.

Sounds like huge buffs to the Horde playstyle.

There’s no way to spin it, this all benefits horde, but most of it was obviously necessary.

One of the great side effects that may not be obvious is that the change to diminishing returns hurts bots that were just farming the bonus honor. People who actually pvp will have an easier time out-earning bots.
