Every time I launch the game i cannot alt tab out of it. Alt tabbing between windows works fine if the game isn’t running. I’ve tried rebooting 3 times. I’ve tried relaunching the game 5 times. I even tried switching to windows mode and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? 
I am having the same issue. I have to control alt delete and open task manager to be able to go to another open program. Only having this issue in WoW, Alt tab still working as intended while running other games.
I checked to see if it might have been a windows update that is causing the issue, but the last windows update for me was a month ago, so that isnt the issue. I only started having this issue about a week ago.

Check any game boosting applications that may be running. Sometimes they set hotkeys to off to make sure no accidental tab out issues. Razor game apps do this. Dell has one etc… worthwhile to check into the settings of any game “booster” app.

AH!! You were correct. I had completely forgot that I had updated that software and it had asked to boost WoW and I thought nothing of it at the time.
