Although my main has already done the main quests and enabled the option for my alt to level as I wish (world quests, table to choose map and so on), my alt is stuck in the main Dragonflight quest, at 0/9. They are already at level 70 and my alt has more renown than my main (which can do the main quest, no problem), but the map insists on saying that I need to “Raise your renown with the major factions of the Dragon Isles to continue the campaign”
So… Do I need to do the main quest on every map, with every alt, do unlock the main Dragonflight quests?
If yes, there’s no point on leveling in any other way than … doing the same quests over and over again on every alt :\
Am I missing something?

I’m in the same boat. Main at 70, completed the MSQ and unlocked the table and ability to select leveling zone. Idk what is going on?

Same deal. Did the rep grind and it still says raise your renown. My renown is at 4-7-2-7… is there a certain level of renown you need to bring them up to or what, it’s incredibly vague. Other ppl say they did the campaign in less than 8 hours here in an 3 days on and I’m still stuck…

Yup im at the same point, my alt has hit 70 but im unable to advance the msq at all.
Current renown is sat at 4-4-6-3 and main story wont advance.
Unable to get my spark of creation because of this

Adding new post so that people get notified, I managed to fix this issue.
To fix it I had to go rescue chromie from the time portal. Once I did this i then got the quest called moving on, this is the one that unlocks adventure mode. Once you hand that in to Alexstrasza it then unlocks the quest “Renown of the Dragon Isles” and allows you to then move your alt forward with the campaign.

Hope this helps people out with this bug until blizzard can fix it.

Did not work for me. Was required to do the entire Thald campaign, that unlocked my alts spark. Still only 0/9, not 1/9. Still says to gain more renown.
Also, needed to do all of Thald to unlock chromie’s portal for trial of elements chest

Same issues… If I knew this I wouldn’t have wasted my time… So I guess we have to just run campaign again with alts…
Gonna sneak this in here, I’m kinda stuck on renown with Valdrakken. I’m stuck on 9 and unable to continue the story line until I’m at 12.
Is there a way to increase renown? Is it just rep based? So I need to bust out these WQs and do all the little side quests inside Thal? I don’t mind if it is, I’m just not sure how to progress it beyond what it is.
I’m able to do my m+ and raiding if I wanted to, so I’m not overly worried, but I’d like to get to renown 20 and start on a few alts during some slow times.

Literally same here, rep grinding did nothing, world quests dont do anything, done all the raids almost 400 ilvl stuck at 8 renown for valdraken. If anyone finds a fix please let me know
