Having a problem with my alt modifier not working

the macro is fine i used it before pre patch, the alt part doesnt work though it just goes on me when im holding alt. it should be going to my 2nd party member?
I had a similar problem with another modifier macro attached to a keybind using a modifier. Seems this is broken since the prepatch started.
Check your keybinds. I’ve been bit by this many times but if you have something bound to that key combination, it will take priority over the macro. For example, the default binds for the pet bar is ctrl+#. If you try to use ctrl in a macro, it won’t work until you unbind those.
Maybe the pre-patch messed with your keybinds? It might be helpful to scan through and see if something is taken up by that.
Might not be it, but worth checking.
In the blizzard settings they reset / added some options for ‘default self casting’ binds.
It defaulted it to be alt-key combinations.
To change it go to: Options → Combat → Self Cast Key and set it to none.
